That would be awful, could you imagine 3-4 months from now having to run 12 raids a week when 3 raids are out? No thank you.

Who said you HAVE to do them?... Are you saying people would be complaining that there's too much content in the game? The fact of the matter is, if they simply let you upgrade your legendary gear, everyone would already be level 32. What if some people don't like the new raid?...they'd rather just play vault of glass, but confined to the idea of it being useless now. What if the next raid comes out and people would rather play Crota's end.... It gives you options...

You basically erase the entire concept of gear progression, there's no incentive to run new content.

I'm not saying throw it out as the DLC launches. later on down the road when the DLC's are over.
