I'll just jump right in here.
The US will be getting this DLC at $20 while the UK will have to pay £19.99 for the same content. That works out to be about $33 for UK players.
I was thinking about supporting this game, getting the dlc, but at the price Bungie is charging you can forget it. I hope that other people on the forums see this, particularly UK based players so they can make a better informed decision.
I for one won't be buying ANY dlc until the price goes down. We just forked out the full retail price and now we are expected to spend almost half the price of the game just for 5 extra things to do in PVE?
On top of that as an XBOX owner I have to wait a year for 1 extra strike so what is the point in me parting with my hard earned beer tokens now rather than waiting for a price drop? There isn't one.
I'm sorry, but no. It's too little for too much. I could buy a decent second hand game and have money left over to buy their DLC for that price.
So, if you feel the same way drop a comment, bump, like and all that good stuff.
Have a good day!

4 RepliesAlways the way. They just swap the $/£ symbols and believe thats the exchange rate. Then to make it seem "cheap" they take a penny off and make it £19.99 in this case. -blam!-ing pennies! I hate that psychological nonsense.

1 ReplyYou're looking a currency exchange. Due to dollar value. But 20$ and 20£ or is it 20€ but any ways they're not taking in currency exchange in the equation like Sony did with Canada. 20$ where ever you live I guess.

4 RepliesI can only imagine how much more we will be ripped off here in Australia

3 RepliesYou can't get into a comparison bud.cost of items cannot be compared.due to different costs from shipping to licenses etc etc. You simply have to ask yourself.is what is being offered worth the 20quid. You know we are ripped off in the uk bud by most conglomerates, why would bungie/activision be any different. Best of luck.

2 RepliesI'm on PS3 and I don't think I will get it. I want it but £20 is ridiculous, even more when you realise the US gets it for about £12 (which I probably would pay) If someone buys the pass in the US will it work over here ? There just isn't enough NEW to justify the outlay. Especially given all the recent issues I'm not sure that Bungie care about the customer anymore. It doesn't seem like they are playing fair with us at all.

1 ReplyEuropean players are also paying more (though not as much as the British) http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/75930952/0/0
