Today is another "Walking Tall" bounty day.
If you see someone who is idle during the strike, give them a couple of minutes.
If they don't move after that grace period - push them off a cliff or into a mob. Hell, boost them into a wall with your sparrow.
Do not allow this to continue.
I'm grinding strikes right now because, hey, I like strikes and blue engrams. If I see you idle, you are going to die.

We aren't going to implement baby bumpers for players too, are we? :D
-
Happening more and more. Bungie! This is something you should actually address! This is a bigger deal than pushing atheon off or nerfing weapons
-
Do they have to be idle? Nah... Me and the Griefmobile (Interceptor) seem to do just fine on moving Guardians.
-
Atheon them fools!

Edited by Ammboz: 10/28/2014 12:17:25 PMSure it happens that someone has something important in real life to do all of a sudden. I understand and I suport you guys, real life first! Allways! Buuut... if something that important happens in real life you sure am not mad if some petty minded fool like myself push you to your virtual death. Hey, it's just a game anyways, right? And it's all in good fun, right? Right, thought so. cheers!

I have never seen an idle. If you want the bounty, just play through cautiously (I always go to the level 8 earth strike for this bounty).

2 RepliesHave them turn bright orange in crucible and give people bonus rewards for killing them.
-
2 RepliesFirst we pushed Atheon off. now we are pushing guardians........... bungie nerf please
-
i hate such people who are afk during strikes and those people which defend such shit are even worser. i would prefer a much harder penalty for you, but just my few cents about this shit.
-
1 ReplyMe and my buddy were doing a Tiger strike yesterday and this guy was stopping for about 6 minutes, moved 5 feet and stopped moving lol
-
Faith in destiny restored, a little.
-
22 RepliesStill lmao at this stupid thread. Like strikes are hard. Who does level 24 strikes anymore at level 27+? So basically who the Fuk cares.
-
7 RepliesI got accused of this last night when in fact I had to go tend to my kid who had a nightmare. All well and good when they are idling from the second the strike starts / actively grinding the start area whilst the other 2 push ahead. But sometimes shit happens and there's no easy way to communicate this right now. And let's be honest. real life events are more important than a destiny strike.
-
11 RepliesI've been killed by teammates many times, even when I've been active the entire strike. If I die and no one is around to save me right away, I'll pass the time by responding to any texts or snapchats. If they happen to revive me while I'm doing so, they either ram me with their sparrow or push me off a ledge. I don't know about you guys, but to me, my social life and real life relationships are a bit more important than a video game.
-
8 RepliesMy friend was doing the 9000 exp without dying bounty and he was camping on the Pride Rock thing on Venus and I pushed him off. Funniest thing was he had 8000 exp
-
6 RepliesThis is why idlers make me grumpy. 1) its just so rude. 2)Its not my job to carry you. You don't deserve anything if I do the strike and you do nothing. I mean If its at your job and people keep getting a bonus for work you do, you'd be raising hell. 3) your making life harder for someone else solely because your scared and lazy. If you die finish the strike or leave so people that aren't leeches can enjoy the game
-
2 RepliesThey should 'drag' you in when the rest of the team hits the first respawn restricted zone and then boot you if are more than 20 seconds behind everyone else getting into the next one. I hate a-holes who do that to get bounties too. Quite annoying.
-
12 RepliesI'll go afk in between strikes to take my dog out or maybe even take a shit. I usually run with my roommate or a friend and they go ahead and start it so when I get back it will already be rolling. If you spend the time to kill me while my friend is doing all the work. You just went out of your way to be an asshole when you don't know the reason or situation. It's not like I'm gone for long, I haven't been killed but I came back one time with some dude punching me like a retard instead of helping my friend that was soloing it.
-
3 RepliesLol Strikes are level 24 Max so you can do them on your own. You don't need anybody to really help you so pushing idle players off makes you an ass.
-
Edited by EtherMagz: 10/28/2014 12:58:38 PMSometimes, matters in reality forces me to go idle for a couple of minutes. But I always get back and continue the strike. Sure enough i get a lot of messages saying im a bitch and what not. Sorry if my reality is messing with yours.
-
Hahaha did this yesterday someone idled from the start and I waited a little then rammed them with my sparrow into a wall.... needless to say they backed out
-
1 ReplyI alrdy got few of those "players" in my fireteam and honestly since i'm lvl 28-29 on my chars i don't mind if they stay behind coz usally i'm also doing the headshots/meleekills and kills bountys as well as strikes... so i wan't all mobs for me.... (muahahaha).. but my question is.. arn't they suposed to get kicked back to orbit if they stay idle for 2min or so?? Pushing them won't work since most of the time they are next to their controller...
-
This never bothers me because I can solo any of the strikes. I can understand the whole fairness aspect of it though. If it were my choice, i'd choose to do them alone.
-
4 RepliesIf you push them off cliffs Bungie will just add bumpers
-
3 RepliesAnother thing, there is a player report for inactivity. Just saying
