Microsoft strikes again!!!!!!
I am sick and tired of people bitching about how Sony got the exclusive content, when Microsoft has not only made it so that games before they even come out get are exclusive to them only I.E Halo ( which was by far the only really good Xbox exclusive ) but now they go and make a game that started on PC and Playstation 1 so that only will be released on Xbone.
The newest Tomb Raider game will only be on Xbone and never be released on any Playstation console ever. What is Microsoft so -blam!-ing scared of Sony bankrupting there console division that they have to steal an IP that started on Playstation and PC. They make close to every DLC content on games that is on all console timed exclusives, or exclusive to Xbox only, because they want to make everyone think they are better, but they have always put out a sub-par console with a network designed to rip off everyone that joins it.
Due to how they -blam!-ed everything up with Bungie and lost them as the creative team behind the new Halo games, which this new company -blam!-ed up the entire Halo name, which is why they are releasing the Master Chief Collection, to try and bring the Halo fanboys back to Xbone and away from Playstation 4.
Microsoft just proved how scared of Sony they really are.
First Microsoft forced Sega to stop making consoles, because any current console that Sega would make would shit on any console that Microsoft could ever make, now they steal game IP from Sony, that is the shittest thing Microsoft could ever do.
People wonder why everyone hates on Xbox and calls it CrapBox, well look at the shit Microsoft pulls and tell me they are not entitled to say it or they are not correct in saying it.

2 RepliesBtw it was Sonys lies about how powerful the ps2 was which would of been better than PS3 at launch of PS3 plus the fact that dream cast did not support DVDs. That is what killed sega and Microsoft isn't scared of Sony Microsoft owns the rights to the technology used to make and encode blu ray which is why when Microsoft said blu Ray on the one and Sony said no Microsoft said well bye bye blu Ray and hello hddvd which btw runs better than blu Ray and Microsoft and I believe Phillips own that tech

2 RepliesIf you think wisely about it, it's called business. And don't say Microsoft puts out subpar consoles because Xbox 360 beat PS3 in the last gen. Businesses buy out others all the time and promote themselves over their competitors. Don't go on an uneducated rant and make a fool of yourself. Go to business school and learn how tough and raw competition gets. Maybe then you'll understand ehy certain decisions are made.

FYI - Speaking of exclusives, just to add insult to injury did you know Destiny was an Xbox Exclusive? It was not until May 2013 when a decision was made to sign the game for Sony. Sony was then contacted for a cross platform compatibility contract to release the game on the PS3 and PS4. 2. Your a moron, Microsoft did not steal anything, they approached the Developers/Publishers of Tomb Raider with a lot of money and asked to make a deal. The final decision to accept the deal is down to the Developers/Publishers not Microsoft so go blame the Developers/Publishers for accepting the deal in the first place. 3. Microsoft did not force Sega to do anything, Sega made the decision on their own free will to become a Software developer and leave the Hardware part of the company in the past. 4. The 1996 Tomb Raider was not an original Sony IP to start with. Sony had no connections with the 1996 Tomb Raider and was Developed by Core Design and Published by Eidos Interactive. The game was also released on PC and the Sega Saturn but due to the success of the game on the Playstation people associate it with the Playstation. So conclusion, 80% or more of you're argument is totally invalid and pointless. Edit - Also worth mentioning that there has never been a Tomb Raider game released solely on the Playstation it has always been a multi system game.

Since I can not edit my post I'll put this here EDIT: After reading all the childish comments I will say this. I do not like or support exclusive content in any way shape or form. It is one of the major reason's for the entire console wars and one of the major reason we still do not have any kind of cross-platform game play of any kind. If all games and DLC content came out at the same time for all console, then it would all come down to personal preference, but if your a fan of C.o.D, and want the DLC content when it first comes out, then you must have an Xbox, if you were playing Skyrim and wanted the DLC content when it first came out, you had to play on Xbox. Things like that piss of players and make us hate the other consoles. Sony is no better on that aspect so don't think for 1 second I'm a Sony fanboy, I'm just a fan of certain game series and would like to play on my prefered console and not be forced to wait possibly a year or more, or to buy a new console to play the newest title in the series.

16 Replieshaving owned both consoles, I will always side with Microsoft, they have exclusives for games that will be so much better than most exclusives for Playstation...the division(just as an example) and one update at a time the Xbox one is become an amazing console. So instead of throwing hate our way, how about you just learn to live with it? We don't mess with you, you shouldn't have to mess with us.

Ok guys let’s think about this for a minute. Microsoft is a corporation, Sony is a corporation. The corporations compete with each other over market share and our $. It is good for the consumer (you and me) when there is competition within the supply base. This rivalry insures that we the consumers receive the highest quality and value for our $. The XBO and PS4 are in a subset market that happens to have few direct competidores. This polarizes the consumer base. Similar to what you see with cell phone operating systems, i.e. IOS & Android. Each segment of the market will excel in different areas than the other as well as attempt to pander to the majority of the consumer base. This can’t be helped unless additional suppliers are introduced into the market. A lot of people will prefer the video game focus and intuitive interface of the PlayStation while others simply will not be able to give up the ergonomic Xbox controller. Personally I fall into one of these categories. It is however important to remember that the system that you may not be playing has an impact on what is offered to you through you’re preferred supplier. Basically what I’m saying is stop being a mindless fanboy… Trust me Microsoft/Sony doesn’t give a flying FUC|{ about you.

1 ReplyLet's get a couple things straight. The new Tomb Raider game is only a timed exclusive for the Xbox, not a permanent one. Also Phil Spence, Head of Xbox had stated that the exclusivity was up for grabs by anyone, any company. So Sony could've picked it up, but chose not too. Furthermore you said that when the Bungie-Microsoft partnership ceased, the Halo games creativity and popularity had gone with it, but what your forgetting, probably the most important thing is that Bungie has been producing games for a long time, where as 343 Industries the company that has taken over, had only remastered Halo CE. They have a lack of experience, but made a good attempt at Halo 4. I haven't heard anything about the Sega thing, but without a source I will ignore it. Something you've got to remember is that Sony and MS are both [i]businesses[/i] that want to make money. Netting exclusive content means more sales for the company which is their ultimate goal.

7 RepliesPlaystation has its fair share of exclusives that they pay off also. Microsoft just has the ability to pay more for games they want. Microsoft trying to control bungie i agree was their mistake, and bungie is getting payback with the extra content for playstation. I personally have had both consoles and i have 2 reasons i prefer xbox over playstation. First off, THE CONTOLLER IS SO (tiny) and awkward. Second, i never liked the playstations home screen.
