The update is causing a bunch of mixed feelings in the universe of destiny. The loot cave shut down was something that was bound to happen. That's understandable but let's talk about the Queens mission. The point of missions is to get something that you possibly need like new gear, better weapons and etc. That's good and that's what the queen promises towards the end. The only problem is that gear that you are giving to the gamers is the same gear over and over again. what do we do with gear we don't need? We dismantle it and use the components to level all our weapons and gear. Two to Three ascendant shards/energy may seem like a lot. I agree. I was so ecstatic when I figured this out on Tuesday. I went ahead and finally passed lvl 27 but now I can't get any more shards due to the update. three to two shards a mission is too much. makes it too easy. I wouldn't mind getting a shard per mission from breaking down the helmet I've received 5 times already. as of right now I have 8 missions for the queen and have zero interest in playing them. There is no point to. What is bungie going to do to grab my interest back in these missions? The need for at least some ascendant matierals is strong.
