We are aware there are some players that are not having a quality experience getting or staying connected to Destiny, even after following the troubleshooting steps. We will be updating the CATTLE/CATERPILLAR, CENTIPEDE, BEE/FLY/LION and BEAVER/FLATWORM/LEOPARD help articles with updates as we investigate.   • Have been playing on PS4 since day one. Haven't had a single network issue until tonight. Getting beaver and quail error codes now permissions have changed and can't access the game.

  • I have been getting the "beaver" issue lately. I'm on the Xbox One. I was getting kicked out of pvp matches, then a couple strikes. It happened earlier today, but then my game sessions were doing fine until a while ago tonight. Now I'm getting sent back to orbit. Getting kicked off the servers & the "world of Destiny", it gets tiring trying to get back in the game. Nothing is wrong with the Internet connection. Only other device that hooks up to the Internet is my iPod. My modem is not near my console for direct hook-up (unless I run a cable from my kitchen, through the living room, to my room haha) any other solution for a wireless connection, possibly?

  • Sprint Says nothing is being blocked on their end... I can't even connect to the game,, that is with my open nat or plugged straight into the modem.. All other games work fine. All other MMO's work fine... all other FPS games work fine.

    First off I have an error where after 2-5 minutes it boots me into orbit and I get the error code lion every time and once I got error code fly and this has been happening since launch day. So because of this I'm stuck on the second mission since launch day. Second for 48 hours I had a wired connection just like the link said and the same exact error occurred when it was wired as well! So this is not a fix this is just a joke!! Also, Sony even told me my internet connection is 100% finebecause every single other game I own, Netflix in 1080p, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Smart TV all work perfectly. Sony went on to tell me the only real option I have is for Bungie to fix there server or for an update/patch for the game to come out. Also, I think it's ridiculous how we have to open the ports which I've done that and still not working and or you have to have a wired connection just because this game has some "special internet" that requires a wired connection for gaming. In my opinion any type of required wired connection nowadays is outdated with the advancements in wifi and shouldn't have to happen now a days. But I truly believe it's beyond having a wired connection or opening the ports and it's a problem only on Bungie's end and only Bungie can fix the problem, and I'm sure a lot of people having this problem across multiple platforms and I would agree with me on it!

  • I play on a wired connection and am always getting disconnected from xbox live on my 360 and sometime getting the error codes. I tried everything but nothing is working and I just keep getting disconnected every ten mins. I live in Vancouver B.C

  • This is not helpful at all. Located in Ohio, Open NAT, Direct connection to my modem, no issues with other xbox one games, even called Time Warner and they were baffled. Was able to play a few games the first day or so, have not been able to do anything multiplayer for the last two days. The sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't when everything else is running just fine pretty much sticks Bungie with the blame. I love the game, but it was designed for multiplayer. And the BS about it being my internet is a scapegoat. Too many people with the same issue. I'd rather you own up to it, tell us your working to correct the issue and we can be patient. Ignoring us just makes me want a refund.

    ive done all of the 'repairs' i can find anywhere ... port forwarding, open nat type etc ..... ive installed brand new modem / router and replaced EVERY cable between the pole outside and the back of my xbox one and i still get kicked randomly .... ive been kicked to orbit then returned to orbit again before i even get a location selected!! ive last an hour in a game but then lasted long enough to summon my sparrow .... first game ive ever had problems with including xbox, 360 and one and in the last 6 years of xbox live ... DESTINY IS THE BEST GAME I HAVE ALMOST PLAYED!!! ...... so frustrating, cable company have no issues, i get kicked, check my xbone settings for network and multiplayer and there are no issues .... its the destiny servers, i can still be in a party with friends and dont lose the party connection .... also i can go play other games without these issues WTF?? oh and on the xbox one ... disc .... open nat and great #'s

  • i'm sorry but i play online since 2009 and had already played many multiplayer games battlefield, call of duty, killzone, assassin creed series, halo series, and many more and I NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF ISSUE. maybe you should ask some help from sony and microsoft to help on this issue. we all love the game, so kindly i really ask for this manouver.   • That link is a bit insulting. Like most people in the UK, I have a modem/router combined since almost everyone uses ADSL/VDSL here. I can't get a pure connection to the internet, and expecting people to test things by hardwiring their living room console and TV to a modem that's probably in the hallway seems a bit ridiculous. I normally have my PS4 with uPNP enabled and every other game works fine. I've tried using a static IP in a DMZ and it makes no difference. I've had all sorts of errors, including bee, caterpillar, elk , and canary. Usually it happens during mission entry/exit, but I've just been kicked from patrol too. Contact my ISP? Seriously, you think my ISP is blocking Destiny yet somehow leaving every other major game server untouched? The problem is at Bungie's end. Just apply Occam's Razor and realise that we aren't all ignorant kids who don't know how to set up a router.

  • I have been looking trough the forums for days to see if anyone from bungie would post anything related to the disconnects, and this is what pops up, the same "solutions" and troubleshooting tips that has been posted up and down the forum threads all week! And that is now called "High-level info" !? I, and probably all the other guys with these problems, have turned our home networks upside down to try to fix it with no luck. I tried connecting my PS4 directly to the net via a bridged modem (got Open NAT) no filtering at all out on the internet but still no go. I get bees, lions even an ELK error...sometimes I can play for hours, and then suddenly the errors come every 2-3 minutes. I cant figure out what is wrong at my side, every other online game is working fine. And if none of the so called solutions work, bungies tips is to contact the ISP? What more can they do when my connection is open and everything else works? The requirements state that "An Internet Connection is Required", well.. I got one.. it works for everything else, please fix it on your end! The game is great! But all the disconnecting is ruining the experience!

  • Is this a Joke? That link is nothing but at "it's your fault" page. No it's not our fault, Bungie needs to fix the servers, its plain and simple. I can play just fine during the morning and early afternoon (GMT time), but late afternoon and at night it's nothing but disconnects on everything that isn't a strike. And when I say nothing but disconnects, I mean every freaking minute. How on earth is this not fixed yet? [i][/i]

  • i am on xbox 360 everything still dissconnects/signs you out during gameplay. every fix that was recomended sence this game came out i have tried including this last one to no effect. are you now telling us that you need a seperate router thats only function is to play destiny?

  • i cant understand why i could play without any issue until today... i changed nothing on my router, but now i cant even login on the patrol mode, a lot of errors... chicken, centipede, cloudberry, leopard and gopher i think, i hate this because i cant fix this thing...
