One More Reason Golden Gun is Awesome
I've heard people say Golden Gun sucks because you have to worry about aiming, but If I'm not mistaken, one of Moreconsole's PVP videos shows a Golden Gun round OBLITERATE a Titan and then fill a room with an impressive, golden, fiery explosion. Click above to see the video. The scene should be between the 10:26 mark and the 10:30 mark. This is just one more reason I'm going to be a Hunter. 1 ReplyI totally agree that the golden is badass, but that was a grenade that took the titan out (the hunter wasn't glowing, and if you frame by frame it, you can see the grenade travel low by ground). The golden gun will be the best super at the advanced levels. There's an upgrade to cause enemies to explode, creating basically the same thing.

1 ReplyI think the main thing is people didn't really get the golden gun. It has a small animation to complete before you can use it unlike the other supers, and could be potentially tricky to learn if you are inexperienced or new. The MAIN point I'd like to make is that it is excellent at three ranged kills in multiple directions. The other two are one and done, but I have ten seconds to shoot one and turn around shoot another, and yet a third all from a very long range.

While there is an upgrade that makes the Hunter's golden gun rounds explode when they kill an enemy - what you saw was the hunter throwing an incendiary grenade (the 2nd grenade type you could unlock in the Alpha for the hunter).

4 RepliesIn the Alpha the golden gun doesn't have explosive properties. You probably saw the Hunter's solar grenade.

(PVE) --------->0>---->(0) <Stops and shield gone ^ ^ ^ Golden Guy [u]Guy with shield[/u] Shot w no shield I guess it would be kind of OP against Fallen Captains and Wizzurds but it's a super! Edit: Obviously the shot after wouldn't Insta kill.

12 RepliesGolden gun is op in pvp. If you cant get 3 kills with it then put away the controller. Pve not so much though. I think it would be better if it was 1 to the head 2 to the rest of the body.

I simply thinks its a goofy idea! Ignoring what it actually does. There a quite a few better options they could have gone with.
