Apparently mister community manager DeeJ wasn't a big fan of [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post?id=62951728]my post[/url] about the things I see too often. He replied not once, but twice, expressing his disapproval. I suppose I'll try to be a little more positive and encouraging, even though it will probably kill me. So, because of this, here are seven things we should say more often: 1:"I'm on this console, and I see you're on that console, but I still respect you." - PS4 and Xbox One are both great consoles. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages. We are all one big Destiny community, we will all play the same game, by the same developer. We will all be fighting the same enemies, protecting the same city, and exploring the same universe. 2:"Your information is outdated, so let me politely fill you in a bit." -Again, we're all part of the same community. There is so much speculation going around that it's almost impossible for some people not to get confused. No need to snap at people. 3:"Though I'm not thrilled about this particular aspect of the game, I'm willing to let it go because Destiny as a whole looks pretty good." -I've seen people obsess about bloom, aim assist, and other minor details. Bungie is giving us an entire solar system to explore, so why are you stressing so much over such tiny things? 4:"Nice troll. Made me laugh." -This is a two way street. First of all, trolls need to step up their effort and make their posts a little more clever. Second, people need to stop having aneurisms every time they see a troll thread. Jokes are there to make people laugh. 5:"It would be cool if Destiny had this aspect from that game." -If I said you look like a certain movie star, or play sports like a certain professional athlete, or think like a certain scientist, you would take it as a compliment, right? So don't always assume it's an insult when people compare Destiny to other games. 6:"Here's a funny little idea I would like to share, even though it almost definitely won't be in Destiny." -Remember Jimothy? Remember Space Narwals? Things like these, though only loosely related to Destiny, are amusing and keep the forums interesting. 7:"I don't know everything." -Whether it's speculation being heralded as fact, or just some asshole running his mouth, people pretending to know things they don't isn't good for the forum. Admit when you don't know. Say these things a little more often, or a lot more often, and #Destiny will become a much nicer place. See you starside.
