Also, there are rumours going around of the next game (after Black Flag) to be set in India with an Indian assassin. What do you think of this?

None of those are characters, they're all just one-dimensional avatars. The closest you get to any kind of vaguely interesting character development would be the conflict between Connor's attempts to honour and preserve his cultural heritage and his need to take a side in the revolutionary war, but even that comes off as incomplete and unrewarding.
-
Connor as a character, though as a game, ACII is my fave...

The Assassin in India is referring to a comic: http://kotaku.com/ubisoft-reveals-a-new-assassins-creed-set-in-india-it-843196157

Ezio is only the most interesting man in your life, after all.
-
Ezio, although I have a feeling That Edward will be my favourite after Black Flag!
-
3 RepliesAltair. Even after they switched his voice in Assassin's Creed Revelations and tried to make him not cool anymore.
-
Honestly Edward seems like he'll be mine. Out of the ones you polled I'd have to say Altaïr. He's OG son.
-
3 RepliesAltair. He fought his way through hundreds of guards and not one of them managed to even touch him. Ezio and Connor, on the other hand, got their asses kicked every other day and needed magical white powder (does this remind you anything?) to heal. And Desmond shouldn't have even been a part of AC at all.
-
Ezio and Desmond
-
I said ezio but Altair is a very close second. Ezio I loved cause in just ac2 you get to watch him transform from a carefree young man to a deadly assassin. Altair was a badass but just seemed untouchable in I couldn't connect to him. I really hated Connor he was boring was barely developed hell I liked Kenway better he was in a single mission more BA than Connor the entire game
-
Ezio, the one who didn't seem like a cold-blooded killer.
-
Iv'e only played Brotherhood and I'll still pick Altair because he's the OA ;3
-
I like Connor the best, but I realize there were a lot of draw backs for him. For one, as many stated, he had a bland character. I felt his character showed a lot more in the homestead missions than in the storyline (he was much more down to business in the story). I liked his fighting techniques a bit better than the others even though it took some getting used to. Ezio and Altair were great characters in their own right, but Ezio we had for three games so it's natural we got to see him develop more than Connor.
-
I liked Altair the best.
-
Altair in AC1. When AC was a good game still. I felt Ezio was too open for an assassin. Altair was quiet and deadly.
-
Lmao, no love for Desmond I see.
-
Ezio. The one with an actual character.
-
Ezio is one of the best characters in gaming Altair is cool but just not very exciting Desmond had potential but turned out to -blam!-ing suck Connor is fegget
-
Lol Desmond %0
-
9 RepliesEzio > Altair > Conner > Desmond
-
well ezio since you barely play as desmond, and The only assasins creed games I've played were AC2 to AC revelations
-
Ezio>Altiar>desmond>Connor
