Dear Mailsack
A majority of the pc community would buy your game. The revenue from us will support you to support our platform. We want it, youll make money, everyone will be happy. Why not pc?
-
They have already said that they might try to port it to the PC after release. You don't have to keep bringing this up when they have already given you an answer.
-
They've only said that PC won't be released on the console date. Bungie has avoided the question because it might be released for PC later, maybe within a couple months or something, you'll just have to be patient
-
12 RepliesNo. SOME people would buy the game on PC. The large majority would pirate it. Let's be honest with ourselves.
-
5 RepliesBecause of DLC... On computer you can mod for free
-
I'm pretty sure eventually a pc port will come out....read through the interviews because they have been asked this question so much. the answer I've seen so far that hints of no possibilities being shut is when asked about a pc port, the answer given is that they are releasing it on 4 different consoles, 3 more than they have ever done in the past. It would be foolish to bite off more than they can chew this early in the game. No doors are going to be shut though *wink wink
-
2 RepliesA game made on Pc, a genre mostly on PC and it will not come to PC? Yes, they want to sell consoles, but the bulk of the fans of this genre is in PC
-
It will probably be like Halo CE. Starts of console, than later jumps to PC.
-
Maybe it has been so long that they forgot how to make pc games? Seriously bungie, this game is perfect for pc that it is ridiculous. And the fact that it isn't coming to pc (as far as we know) is even more ridiculous. There is not one good reason as to why it isn't. If they can develop it for cross gen, then they can dump out a pc port in no time.
-
That would be great.
I'd never have a PC that could play it, though.
-
We can only pray for PC release!
-
*Sells Xbox* *Builds Gaming PC* *Destiny not planned to launch for PC" Damn...
-
10 RepliesBungie is doing all the four versions of the game by themselves. I doubt that they want to work on a fifth version. Besides there's probably some good reason as to why they're not developing for PC. I wouldn't expect a PC version of destiny. If you truly want to play it buy a console. Personally I find it funny and ironic, that (not all) PC gamers are screaming "PC Master race" yet they continue to ask for console exclusives on PC.
-
1 ReplyIf it does ever get on PC they'll have to deal with more hackers, exploiters, and if there is trade then stuff like Diablo 3's Auction house.
-
Would you let Bungie work in piece please? They have already expressed interest in using PC in the future, but its not something they are willing to pursue at the moment. It's their first big independent game coming out of that Microsoft fiasco and you want to demand everything of them. How is that fair?
-
1 ReplySooooo.....no? (list reasons saying why it shuld be console ony rather then on PC)
-
1 ReplyNo idea where all these naysayers are coming from considering that Bungie has already expressed interest in a PC version. I think it's likely a PC version will start development when the four console versions are complete - and will see a slightly later release. And don't give me the piracy excuse either - put it on Steam without any BS DRM and a lot of people will buy your game. Companies like EA, Activision, 2K, and even Ubisoft (which has a reputation for hating PC gaming) make games for PC and even go out of their way to make the PC version superior to the usual console version so there's obviously money to be made otherwise the big publishers wouldn't bother with it.
-
Yes please, this would make me very happy :) - I've said it before, but since threads like this keep popping up, I keep telling that I'd like it ^^
-
No, sorry.
-
Haters, go away and hate in silence! PC users! Rouse yourselves and make this not a plea/request but a statement of fact! Destiny For the PC. Do it. Not for us, but for yourselves.
-
Agreed OP. Bungie's response when asked (and they have been asked several times by gaming news) is that they are currently very busy with 4 consoles, but that they want to reach all gamers, and that they will talk more about PC later.

Edited by Ilogical Logic: 7/4/2013 2:22:00 AMmedieval warfare for consoles please EDIT: i feel like im being mean now so i feel bad...
-
I imagine that they will eventually have a PC version. I forget where but I have heard that the first Destiny will be ported to PC later on. I recall something in the leaked documents that said something on the lines of the second game being for the PC at the very least.
-
3 RepliesThey would hire a third-party company to port and manage the game about a year after release. Sorry pc community, really I am.
-
Edited by Spacebop: 7/4/2013 12:24:04 AMBecause they're making it on four separate consoles. They want to make it for the PC, but they want to make sure they port it the right way. I'm paraphrasing on the last part, but you get the point.
