i was bored watching the news this morning so i decided to see what kids these days were watching. i saw the above (that's the best i could find on youtube). now, we all know how TV stations like to recreate our favourite shows from when we were younger to try and appeal to new audiences, but i think this one really takes the cake. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxzT3_Yu99o]here[/url] is the show i remember and tbh i think the similarities between the two shows are very striking. the title sequence is a dead steal the way the thing is shot is pretty much the same too and they even got a deep-voiced scouser to narate the thing but it just isn't the same when done in CGI imo... especially with that terrible theme song and the absence of Ringo Starr.
