I thought we could make a nice hockey thread, now that the NHL is back on.
Which team do you root for?
What are you expecting this shortened season?
I root for the Oilers, but I have no idea what to expect out of this season. Any team can get on a hotstreak.

I root for the Devils. Whom Im also employed by. However, I dont believe we will do much this year. Maybe an 7 or 8 seed and a first round exit. I expect a Rangers-Canucks final with the Canucks winning it in 6.

Also, the Staals are back together. Carolina may be a playoff team now with Semin and J.Staal. But the Staals should be on different lines to add depth to the team.

2 RepliesActually 3 months means more intense play for playoff spots, teams that usually end up last can make it if they stay strong for a few months. I think the eastern conference will be really tight.

1 ReplyI'm really not sure what to expect either. It'll be...interesting. If there's a major upset for the Cup, I'd wager that people will point to the controversial season for the cause.
