You have forgotten how to make games fun
Case in point. Haste as a modifier doesn't make things hard. They make them tedious and frustrating. Adding it to Derealize for master conquest is just moronic.
Helping people through it makes me not want to play, and my mood as a result of it makes them not want to ask me.

They have not forgotten., they don’t know how . All the talent that made Halo and Original Destiny and some of D2 are gone. Bungie that exists in its current form is just a maintenance crew and they are unable to do even the basics of keeping the game up and running. The game is infected with bugs, glitches error codes and contacting destiny servers issues like never before.

When you ignore feedback for years, you're bound to make changes, and modifiers, no player will ever like, because you geniunely don't even know them or how they think or anything anymore. I do agree, most newer modifiers, I don't just despise, I actively avoid. They don't shake up game play or the meta either. They make alot of activities, not even enjoyable. Especially ones that limit you so you can't even play how you want like being forced to use meta to beat it, or your favorite builds not being viable suddenly. And the second you try to edit these mods, if you can.... matchmaking no longer is an option. This is silly.

8 RepliesI'd disagree with that statement completely. I really dislike the Haste modifier; but it absolutely makes an activity more difficult. Avalon conquest last season would have been a cake walk w/o haste.

It seems to be, to me anyway, that the amount of chore required to have a feel good moment has gotten to be more and more. Some of the modifiers are an eye roll.

Yep. I played Halo and really enjoyed it. I was hyped for Destiny being released. Fast forward to recent times and I tried the free Edge of Fate mission and also tried the free Renegades mission. All they did was convince me not to buy either expansion. -
It's not same team that did Halo and Destiny.

Yeap. Bungie doesn't know how to challenge anymore. They just know how to make things frustrating enough to get people to not want to play. Just my spin foil hat theory.
