Not everyone is American, not everyone plays in English, not everyone worships actors like Gods.
To me another human died, many die every day, it's how life works, stop acting like he was your family member !!!

Ehhh stfu

Not every American speaks English either, but I’ll presume the majority of D2 players speaks English as a mother tongue. So, that’s what Bungie’ll look at chum 👍🏻

Edited by K1msest: 3/19/2023 3:27:19 PMOf course my post resorted in racism, hate speech and colonialism mindset, always from the same people, so much for a company that is against this, I wonder where the moderators are :) Even more funny, considering Lance was a black man who was definitely against all of this and would even agree with me :) The game is fully supported in 11 languages, me and millions of players have probably never heard Zavala in English, this is equivalent of killing Homer Simpson because the English VA died even though that show is watched all around the world in many different languages. You are not the most important people in the world, stop believing that, your superiority complex are hilarious, keyboard warriors.
-
Nobody's saying Americans are the most important people in the world or denying that people don't speak English. But Bungie is an American company and much of their playerbase is based in the USA/Canada/UK.
-
English-speaking countries account for approx. 50% of the overall player base. While there's no reliable data on it this is a close approximation. In 2022 the US accounted for 25% of all Steam players, the UK had roughly 6%, Canada, AUSNZ or SA are much smaller so I would say they add on another 5% tops. But since the PS version is more popular in NA I think that altogether it would be around 50%.

Eh they are kinda right. You don’t have to mourning lances death. You have to accept some someday that. HES DEAD y’know? And they are also right. It is just a human being who died. Not a god or something. But I think it’s ok to be sad about someone’s death and not just call them “a another human being” that’s what I had to say

It appears you are suffering some illness where your mouth and sphincter have switched places.
-
Uh did you forget the part where they killed off Cayde-6 cause they couldn't hold on to his American voice actor?
-
👆🏻 Troll
-
Trolling if he’s right?
-
Wow, you really sound like a piece of garbage human being. Blocking you is both a service to the community and a respectful action to Lance Reddick memory. Good riddance to you!
-
Imagine being dumb enough to think English means your American
-
Lance was American, not everyone is American, watches American shows and has grown admiration for him. Lance was the English language VA, not everyone speaks English. My message meant that not everyone was aware of this actor as you aren't aware of others nations actors neither and that outside of America, actors are just human beings, that often die or make mistakes, not gods to be worshipped. Simple. Imagine not understanding your own language.
-
A majority of players speak English. The creators speak English. The writers speak English. It’s translated for those who don’t. I’m not American but I speak English and English isn’t even American. Guess what? It’s English aka from England. Stupido poster di -blam!-

There are people who have played this game for SEVERAL years. For some people, Zavala was like a father figure. For some, he was a brother. Stop being so insensitive and childish, this is the death of a legend and a close one.

Edited by K1msest: 3/19/2023 3:54:13 PMSince this guy who insulted me, even blocked me I will answer Cookie guy post here :) Not only they disrespected me by calling me a third worlder, messaging me through PSN to call me a third worlder that should learn English ( I actually live in the first world but okay) but they've also used other languages to insult me, including in this thread and quite heavily through PSN burner accounts, one even said I should kill myself and kept spamming invites on me :) I know English perfectly, amongst 4 other languages, but since my language is FULLY supported then I decided to not play in English, quite simple. There is nothing insensitive, or offending in my post, unless Lance was an ego driven narcissist which he clearly wasn't, he would actually 100% agree with me, he's a normal human being and that Zavala needs to continue living in game, for the rest of players, he would also be 100% against a statue of him in a videogame because he's not a god, I actually thank god this could never happen due to legal reasons but the fact that almost 1000 players have upvoted that is actually the shocking part. By the way I love Zavala character that's why I don't want him dead, I would also like a quest and even an exotic with his name like Lance's Indeed per example, but a statue and killing Zavala is a big no.
-
Still a fictional world my friend. It's not insensitivity, it's reality. He seemed like a great guy to be friends with, but most people who played the game didn't know him personally. It's not fair to most people if we keep saying that a character can never be recasted after an untimely death.
-
It's not a fictional world, he's talking about the actor, not the game character. And yes, it's insensitivity. It's a blatant insensitivity to others' feelings in this community. He's basically calling stupid to those who feel affected by Lance Reddick's death. He's disrespecting both the community and the actor that died. The fact that he (and you) can't grasp such an obvious thing, is shocking, to say the least.
-
No. It's ok to both feel sad about someone dying but still want to move on. We all have to do it with our actual family, so it's not insensitive to move on from an actor who 99.9% of us didn't know personally.
