I've seen lots of other people complain about this since the introduction of BattleEye, but haven't heard of any official help or anything. I'm on a wired connection, and with every other multiplayer game that I play, my ping is perfectly stable. Sometimes destiny is absolutely fine, e.g. when doing a raid with clanmates. However, occasionally I'll load into a tower instance where I get insanely high ping on discord, and leaving the tower instance instantly drops my ping back to normal levels. It's only destiny that I get this problem in, and it only happens occasionally - but it happens in EVERY gamemode (e.g. gambit, trials, crucible). I don't know if it's a problem with connecting with certain people from far away or what, but it's becoming extremely irritating. Has anyone else experienced this?
I've followed everything in the networking guide, but it's not a problem with my network. It seems to be a destiny issue that I can't resolve.
(Also, apologies - posted this in the wrong forum to begin with)

1 ReplyI have been having the same problems, as well as a lot of other people. Every other game works fine. Having a wired connection for me has not helped in the slightest. They don’t seem to be doing anything about this issue either

3 RepliesI can confirm its not you at all. Destiny 2 used to work flawlessly for me until this season dropped. Getting booted randomly from strikes and other activities which never happened before. Im also on a wired connection with a decent download and upload speed.

1 ReplyYeah, I just got a two week suspension for supposedly having a poor internet connection, but my connection is rock solid except when I play PVP. I rarely play PVP fortunately, but the next step is a TWO MONTH restriction, and I have no clue what to do. Keep in mind that they give you ONE warning then it is a two week suspension which does no good for anyone.
