Should past Trials Armor be added to the Loot Pool?
Evening folks!
With the rework to Trials and it's incentives, should the old Trials armor be added into the loot pool so people can earn it? Should it be kept exclusive for the folks that got it before the rework? Maybe you have another idea?

Small edit; If you'd like to after having voted, can you tell us in your comment when you started playing Trials? This should give a better idea as to who would like this gear to return or stay exclusive, thank you!

4 RepliesI believe Xur was given all past endgame armour (the vaulted raid armour and a few weapons to lessen the clutter of the world loot pool), so he could be given it or allow Ada sell them since let’s be honest we only want it for ornaments

I say go for it, maybe rotate it every season. Or even better, just enable both sets to drop.

And I’m a trials hater…

Exclusivity argument kinda funny considering it was reprised armor that in d1 randomly dropped at end of matches win or loss when there was a new main set of armor

Keep it exclusive for the players before. They deserve to have something that the solos can't have. I myself a solo player would be fine not having that armor.

I said to ADD the old armour but it should be like iron banner. Maybe every week or month you rotate sets. Keeps the pool smaller but now you can hunt for specific sets and not be forced to play weekly and getting the wrong armour.

1 ReplyI’m torn. I like the idea of players who were able to go to the lighthouse and earn loot when it was harder to do so to have some exclusive swagger to show off. On the other hand, I kind of want it too. :P

I went through a lot to get it and to see how now they would give it away basically for free would be dissapointing. These things make you to question you sweaty attempts and time investement next time in similar situation. Tryin to vote in that situation is also manipulative. Because ofcourse very few players got that gear for obvious reasons and voting resalts allways will be cheap and unfair in that case.

More loot is always good - that said, Trials have only two set os armor for years. Something new (and perhaps not ugly) would be better

Both past Trials armor and weapons should be added. The new loot system is great, but once you have everything you want with the stats you want, then you don't really have much incentive to keep playing. With the pool being how it is, you could go through it pretty quickly. Which, personally, happened to me. I got all the items with the stats that I'm happy with, so now I have no reason to play more.
