Adept weapons, so putting better weapons in the hands of only the highest skilled players AGAIN. like we haven't been down this road before. The memory of a goldfish comes to mind 🤦♂️

The most common community conception of what an adept weapon would be now would be to make “celerity” an intrinsic perk on them and give them a different skin. I don’t see how that would make any weapon more powerful in any meaningful way other than in very specific scenarios. Hardly game-breaking, not like if they’re introduced they’ll be given MoW or pre-need Mag Howl. Adepts were the same in D1 they were just given a different shader and they all had the same intrinsic perk. QuickDraw one year, can’t remember what it changed to. Also in year one they primary adepts dropped with an element, which was the only place outside the raids that elemental primaries were available, until primary elemental legendaries were scrapped completely. Fact of the matter is, Flawless trials runs need to be incentivised, upgrade mats ain’t gonna do it, who doesn’t have full stacks of them by now? Fact of the matter is, adept weapons were [i]never[/i] considered game-breaking. The only time an adept weapon was considered meta in D1 was when the regular version was already meta.
