The new "quest".... (spoilers, of course)
Go do Sundial, go to Saint, go to Twilight Gap (admittedly a really cool throwback) and loot 10 Redjacks while Saint and Osiris jabber on. Eventually Shaxx joins in on the fun. Once you pick up the 10 parts, YOU'RE DONE.
I mean, I'm grateful that it wasn't another "kill x amount of enemies doing y thing" for 12 steps quest, but that didn't feel much like a quest at all. Absolutely no semblance of challenge, besides some of the Redjacks kinda blending into the surroundings, but I guess we at least got to hear Shaxx sing. Gun is fun, sounds cool, looks cool. Just wish there were more "quest" to getting it.

1 ReplyLoved the quest. We get to hear Shaxx sing, explore Twilight Gap (which most D2 players haven’t done except in the Red War), and get a new toy to play with. The gun is a powerful reward, so it’s free power.

To be honest I was expecting fall to swarm twilight gap at some point.

14 RepliesWhat do you expect them to do? They make a hard quest and people complain. They make an easy, but long, quest and people complain. They make a simple quest that just asks for you to kill things with a certain weapon and people complain and cry about "having to fight their teammates for kills." People just complain about everything they do nowadays.

all they would have had to do is put fairly rapidly spawning fallen in the area as you hunt for the 10 pieces...maybe a captain spawns when you get the last piece. defeat him and quest over. that would have made it better at least.

It is abundantly clear that Bungie is too incompetent to make any worthwhile quests or run the franchise at all for that matter.

Compared to Corridors of Time this was the weakest yet. Signed out 15 minutes later cos it jus deflated ANY wish to rinse repeat the same old same old again.. We didn't even shoot anything ffs 😠

16 RepliesThe quest was fantastic. It was a quest of joy and world enriching. And the reward was more the dialogue than the sidearm that no one cares about.
