May you guys integrate Some of the Obelisk level-up features into the Planetary Vendors?
EX. at Level 15 Devrim Kay you can purchase an upgrade worth 300 Dusklight Shards (Sounds pricey on paper), and a couple thousand Glimmer to give you a permanent buff that rewards a chance to gain Dusklight Shards on Precision Kills on the EDZ
Gives them meaning that could be neato burrito

Same with the loot systems. Make weapons into bounties and have engrams be armor only

It may be a hint for future update to vendors, it is something people are liking in this format, so make the rest of the NPCs have this system, but with new loot, and more enjoyable grind!

4 RepliesI like the idea of the Obelisk, I've been working on upgrading them. The only thing is the perks need to be worth it. I ran 5 or 6 gambit matches and didn't get anything while having the max upgrade. With how long normal gambit matches take they should drop more often.

Only if the state of the game returns to CoO days where Bungie had to do something to help Destiny 2. Year 1 in it's entirety was nothing more but a year of fixing the game. A whole year was wasted to do just that.

I think a subject similar to this about planetary vendors came up back during Year 1. I believe it's the reason planetary vendors sell gear that requires you to have picked up a certain number of reward packages before you can purchase them today. Someone made a mock-up of what the vendor menu could look like and later Bungie made some small changes to the vendors. It hasn't really been expanded on since, hence the requests for vendor updates.
