Things break, people. Welcome to real life. They'll fix it when they fix it.

No they don't, Einstein. Usually, people break things. And obviously Bungo's ingenious (cough) coding department has failed to apply with the most basic QA standards to their software. Again. It's amazing for how long Bungo is pushing their annoying networking model and abysmal networking implementation into their customers' faces, and people still accept it, and even find apologies for it.

  • Ok, I'll rephrase: sometimes the game breaks because "Bungo" sucks at coding and networking

  • "There's a lot of requests coming into the game server right now! It told us to chill out for a minute instead of giving us useful data, so we're all going to be little Fonzies and be cool until the game server recovers." Not only are we clearly American and fans of 'Happy Days'... (um, no, what?)... but we've all actually paid for this game. No, literally, we've all given our hard earned money to Bungie (many times) to play Destiny. But... here you are, saying 'who cares'.... just 'be cool' because 'things break'. We've paid our money, want to play, they don't say anything, just give meaningless 'Fonzie' messages, and have people like you excusing bad business. But, yeah, okay, things break. Pity this is their business model. Y'know... online only games. Y'know? Online only. Get it? Massive downtime. Nobody playing. Generic messaging. No info. Ridiculous. Did I mention their business model? Online only. Guess their 'free to play' isn't exactly going great.

  • And just like things in real life that you pay for break over time and need repair or replacement. Nothing has changed

  • I'm not saying "who cares", I'm saying that complaining about it is pretty useless. The only thing that makes a difference is when you hit them financially, and you do that by not giving them any more of your money. When enough people stop buying their content and move on to other games, that's when they really start to listen. Honestly, everything else is just conversation.

  • I get it. But they want 'online only'. They now want 'free to play'. That means ensuring (I'd say to at least 90%) that you will always be able to play the game you've paid money for. That's clearly not happening. If I don't complain... then what do they care? And this has to happen with 'everyone'. If enough people say 'enough' maybe they'll listen. Personally, I haven't bought Shadowkeep. Reviews just tell me it's not worth it. Maybe when it's 15 bucks? Who knows? And I WILL NOT buy into their 'battle pass', eververse, etc., crap... that's my personal protest. That's me 'hitting them financially'... But it does not mean I don't want to play the game I HAVE PAID FOR. And, as a paying customer, I'd love to see Bungie give a damn and properly respond to why I can't play.. and when... I can expect to play again.

  • And ya know why would we all be upset it's not enough the servers went down I could understand that but what about our clans?! All that hard work for what? For them to screw us over yet again

  • I might not quite understand what you're getting at. Is your primary issue with them that the game is online-only but doesn't have 100% uptime? Outside of relatively rare unexpected downtime like today, or when they do regular maintenance, etc., there's rarely a time I have any issues with the game that doesn't allow me to play.

  • No, things that work properly break. Hot piles of garbage ran by idiots get on nerves.

  • Breaking is different to non stop malfunction due to server issues which makes the game unplayable. So what do u mean by breaking down????

  • In simplest terms, it's not working, hence it's broken. They are obviously in the process of fixing whatever the issue is and will advise the community when it's fixed. Complaining about it accomplishes absolutely nothing

  • I very rarely experience error codes in D2, and I play a LOT, but error codes have sure been an ongoing issue. If you're getting error coded as frequently as you are, you might have a local issue like with your router. I had that issue for a few days when our new high speed provider at the time set up our location with one of those modem/router combo units, and it caused serious connection issues with Destiny. I replaced that unit with better quality stand-alone modem and router unit and it was smooth sailing after that.
