Shadowkeep is the best gaming experience ever
The title is a load of b*ll*cks - this is the laziest development studio I've ever seen.
I hoped that the divorce with their evil overlords would give bungie the creative freedom they claimed they couldn't have.

If they really wanted to start off with a bang, they should’ve added more unique loot and created a deeper foundation for the “new” Destiny. Either that or STOP WITH THE FLOWERY RHETORIC. I’m getting real tired of TWABs and Director letters that spin amazing dreams but fall short in the game itself. If you can’t execute what you’re saying, DON’T SAY IT. It only makes things worse. This has been true since Day 1. Right now it just feels like more of the same, but different. And not necessarily better than before.

15 Replies1. Bungie spent the last 3 months telling us exactly what to expect. Were you not paying attention....or did you not believe what they were telling you? 2. Your game history shows that you barely played the new content. Certainly not enough time to allow you to bad mouth it with any credibility....and not enough to realize that its not really a reskin. I played Destiny 1 to the tune of 3000 hours (Top 3%)....and I STILL find myself having to stop and think about where I am, and how to get to where I want to go. As someone who used to be able to get around D1s Moon play space practically blindfolded.

Yep and they made the game free to play thus making the entire 'remove eververse' movement irrelevant overnight. If you don't agree with eververse you now have a game for free so very hard to legimtately complain about anything you haven't paid for. Bungie now focuses on the people who buy into eververse or those who are simply impartial. Everyone else can get on board or miss out.

Hopefully the updates that are coming help the state of the game. I like grinding for the armor 2.0 rolls and mods, but other than the Raid and Vex Offensive, there is not that much to do. Crucible is absolutely awful rn

5 RepliesI of course had to buy it, I have been playing since Taken King. Destiny legitimately had an impact on my gaming life, it was awesome. But I can't get myself to play past the first few missions, I haven't even finished the campaign. The blue to purple level up seems dreadful. Nothing really changed in the game, it really is the same old stuff. Don't come at me with the Raid. Most of us never do any Raids. This game just needs to be done. Wait for a whole new reboot with D3.

2 RepliesI agree with you mostly, I see the signs of recycled content from D1. I cannot however say anything in regards to raiding or the pvp aspect as I do not entail in either feature. Add to it Gofannon Forge crashing the game with no fix.

2 RepliesI mean, is there a reason they couldn’t have done the full suite of Osiris weapons for Vex Offensive? Like, just 4? Really? And to just cover them in dirt and foliage? I would have rather them changed nothing visually about those forge weapons and just included all of them with random rolls. There’s a lot that seems utterly half-assed in this expansion.

15 RepliesReskins? Raid weapons, moon weapons, and more than likely the dungeons weapons are all unique. Only reskins we got were Vex stuff. The raid weapons actually look awesome too. No new enemies? The last mission of the campaign literally introduced something that CLEARLY wasn't Hive, Fallen, or Taken. No ending to the narrative? Yeah. Probably because it isn't over yet, as explained several times by Bungie up to this point. The game is changing. Narrative is progressing from season to season. The story was just a small part of the narrative, and it is set to continue for months to come. Half this post is just factually wrong.

I hate to say it but...I mostly agree. Shadowkeep is not what it was hyped up to be. The campaign was short and had no end. The leveling system is arbitrarily harder to inflate time, Vex Offensive is the only good activity and it’s the same every run. I haven’t ever been to the level of apathy and dissatisfaction I’m at now.

I apparently was done. What did we achieve? Like, is the pyramid done? Wtf? What was everything even about? WHAT IS THE SHADOWKEEP? the big red empty fortress? Wtf.

Shadowkeep kicked off Season of Undying. Season of Undying continues the story of the campaign relic (the raid alludes to the connection) and the Season of Undying culminates with the Undying Mind. Plus, we still have 3 of Eris' fireteam to dispel so what happens after they're done?

I mean, literally everyday you guys scream at Bungie about how amazing D1 is and that this game should have D1 stuff. On top of it, you'd pay full price, if not double for recycled content.
