No more god damn hand cannons
Why the hell would you add another hand cannon. They have made destiny 2 a nightmare. I would be happy if you never put another hand cannon in this game again.

4 Replies100% agree. There are more exotic hand cannons than any other weapon type. We 1 sidearm, 3 scouts, 3 pulses, 2 subs and so on... and SIX hand cannons, soon to be 7 (8 if the hawkmoon rumour is true) and then two of the pinnacle weapons are also hand cannons! I’m sorry but expect variety in a game like this. I want new Exotics for all the other weapons types. AND FOR CHRISTSAKE STOP REHASHING D1 STUFF! How about instead you actually try engaging your brains, be innovative and make more new ones! Way too many D1 rehashes.

4 RepliesToo bad. It’s been like this since the very ending of Destiny 1. Once this game came out on PC, they stopped caring about all the useless guns they can’t optimize correctly on console. It’s the truth but no one will say anything. Get used to it or get a pc.

Malfeasance should be a scout. Crimson should be a pulse. Sunshot could be an Auto.

It's not the hand canons that are the problem but it's Luna and NF in particular. A 3 tap gun with low recoil. They need to add some recoil to that to balance it out. Like in D1, using Pali or Luna required some skill. The whole point of HC is to reward players for being able to control recoil or compensate and pace the shots in response to the wierd recoil pattern they have.

I mean I really enjoy hand cannons tbh, but it’s coming to a point I think where the amount of [u]exotic[/u] handcannons to other weapons like [u]exotic[/u] scout or pulse rifles is a little disproportionate

The perpetual problem is the fact that people love hand cannons in this franchise. Why, I will never fully understand, but bungie only makes it worse by constantly releasing more hand cannons, and people who don’t necessarily love hand cannons will use them because there’s so damn many. What the game needs is an injection of exotics of weapons that are very non meta. There’s only one exotic sidearm in the game. ONE. And to reach its full power, everyone has to be using it, so naturally no one uses it. More exotic sidearms. Another exotic one shot grenade launcher would be a dream. Hell, another exotic auto rifle would be cool. An smg. Another bow, anything but another god damn hand cannon.

I love handcannons but I agree.... And not to mention almost all of them are kinetic. Atleast add more energy ones...

5 RepliesBetter than all these easy to use weapons. Remember Doctrine in D1? That was a nightmare. Also the pulse rifles nowadays are too easy to use and also 3 tap. I do agree on you that there could be a little more variation on guns instead of releasing another hand cannon. I hate auto rifles but a decent auto rifle wouldn't be a bad idea or some good handling scout rifles for mid range like in the pulse rifle range with same ttk.
