Just what this game needed, more exotic hand cannons!
I’m so glad bungie is bringing back Hawkmoon! There’s so few exotic hand cannons in this game, finally I have some variety of choices! I mean there’s only Malfeasance, The Last Word, Thorn, and Ace of Spades! (Oh and Sturm, Crimson, and Sunshot but we don’t talk about them) and now Hawkmoon! This fixes everything that’s wrong with this game! All they need to add is First Curse and this game will be perfect! Not to mention these are all original guns, never before seen in the destiny franchise! I’m so happy about how these exotic hand cannons are redundantly being added to this game, it definitely needs more! There are so many roles that Hawkmoon fills that Ace of Spades just doesn’t! There was totally a point to add it!

This game has iconic hand cannons. I for one welcome it but agree that there should be more variety.

1 ReplyI agree - bring back Vex Mythoclast, Patience and Time, Ice Breaker, Invective, 4th Horseman, Dragon's Breath, etc, etc, etc. Plenty of choices other than HC after HC. My only guess is that it's easier to bring back HCs (for whatever reason).

Seriously what happened to balance bungie you got 7 exotic hand cannons. The next closet weapon is 4 ? How is that balanced how are people supposed to use anything other than a hand cannon when that’s what you push

Hey guys, I just unlocked the Hand Cannon for my Hand Cannon. If you sink 85 Cores into it, you'll get another Hand Cannon barrel, so you can Hand Cannon while you Hand Cannon with the Hand Cannon unlock.

2 RepliesI use hand cannons almost exclusively and I still don't understand why Bungie thinks we need so many. I was honestly hoping either Bad Juju, Touch of Malice, Red Death, Vex Mythoclast, etc. Would serve as the returning exotics at the very least.

2 RepliesTbf they are some of the more iconic weapons from d1 (would still like band juju to come back). Plus, all the exotics brought back to D2 are vastly superior to their D1 counterparts (save the hc crucible era). I don’t mind them bringing D1 hc back because they are actually making them viable and fresh. You have to understand that all this returning exotic armor and weapons are a part of the destiny universe/lore. It makes sense for them to be in game.

1 ReplyHonestly, I don’t even think hawkmoon is coming back. It’s just some wannabe chad handcannon that just looks like hawkmoon but isn’t hawkmoon. Rose looks interesting though.. or lumina whatever they are calling it.
