I logged in this morning to see the message from BUNGIE that it would be easier (and faster) for gamers to level up.
Now, we can access all the content that we paid for faster and without having to grind our lives away.

Just reading a fraction of the replies on here makes me really glad I don’t live next door to some of you angry ppl!! In my own opinion a game needs both sorts of players the Casuals who dip in & out as time allows & the more Hardcore players who help push the game forward .. But it has to cater to both sets of players this new DLC left a lot of ppl behind myself included I’m now at 622 Power after a lot of grinding It out for better gear.. I’ve still got a long way to go & I know I won’t be 650 before the next power increase . But I’ll keep plodding on..

4 RepliesOnly applies to scrubs under 600. As soon as you hit 600, you'll be grinding to hit the new cap.

I'm not 600 yet (been playing other games) I don't want leveling up easier. Leveling up faster is stupid. I bought a mmo style game and I expect to work and grind for things. This hand me everything attitude sucks and it kills games.

I logged my Hunter last night for the first time in a while, 2 hours later he was getting 590-600 gear where he started with around 530s (though i suspect my Titan's 620 weapons had some impact on that)

26 RepliesIt’s Absolutely not a good thing. What’s next? The raid? The Shattered Throne? Grind. It’s that simple. The casual approach has been tried and failed. Hardcore is the only way to go.

Not really. It just boosts up to 600. You are still locked down from most of the new content at 600 so it's not that big of a deal. I'm glad they did it but you are always going to be behind People acting like Bungie is giving away the farm...stfu.

6 RepliesAt 600, you're not accessing anything unless you're carried. Just saying, don't pop the champagne yet cause the quests for Iza are brutal if you're under 620.

Don't see this as a bad thing, most people who play a decent amount would be well over 600 anyway so gives people below a leg up.

I thought it was a good move myself. It doesn’t apply to me, but it doesn’t negatively affect me either. It’s only a good thing - more potential contributors to game activities.

6 RepliesYeah but however that new change is only for players who are under 600 power... you will still have to grind close to 625 to do the second forge and third forge. Even the third forge Quest recommended level is 630. The reason I say 625 for the second Forge because everyone knows that servitor is a complete b**** and you need to be close to 625 to actually do effective DPS the first Forge you can easily finish it under 610
