Only thing it does is prevent you from getting knocked back by boss stomps and Taken shield blasts.
I want a pair for every character!
Thoughts?

2 RepliesEdited by Dmoist86, Moist of Ruin: 11/27/2018 4:21:52 PMIt should have 3 different configurations for each class, it switches when equipped to a different character class, has 3 different perk variations: Titan-(stole this from prev. commenter @The Predictor) has an explosion when you land from higher altitudes Hunter: Using dodge boosts you much farther and faster Warlock: either gains a lift-like ability in the jump or placing rift knocks back enemies
-
And lowers your overall agility. Can't have an item with mass weight not affect your player.
-
Edited by Jet Set Willy: 11/28/2018 4:28:42 PMMy guardians would wear them constantly in PvE. Make them like the Aeon gauntlets, every class gets a variant. Also a 2nd perk where landing from a high jump creates a stagger effect on enemies within a 5 metre (less ? more ?) radius.
-
2 Repliesjust punch them as they stomp bro
-
Honestly a good idea for such a simple perk
-
Of course an exotic like this will go to titans though...
-
I actually use the knock back after doing way of the missleface to get out of the crowd, ive become pretty adept at timing it, i have used zahns to launch me onto his shield platforms and kill him on display for the world. With hunter its great for your new SS debuffer, go invis, stab, use 2 of your tripple jump, save the last for right before you hit a wall.then use altitude to unload before you smack the ground,
-
This will be so -blam!-ing broken and epic 😁
-
Actual perks: Unmovables (Titan Exotic Boots) Perk: Not going anywhere Significantly decreased knockbck and flinch while on the ground. Landing from high altitude creates an explosion where you land.
-
Lead Boots: knock back attacks are significantly lessened. Dealing damage to an opponent dampens class specific jumping abilities.
-
I say make it a boots mod. No need to sacrifice a really exotic for this.
-
Thats a really cool idea, but It would need an ancillary exotic perk to really make it useful. My playstyle is so aware of these stomps and blasts, that they rarely ever happen anymore.
-
3 RepliesI have an idea for exotic armor quest, quest step 1 get 100 ark kills, quest step 2 get 100 void kills, quest 3 get 100 solar kills, quest step 4 complete 20 bounties of any sort, quest 5 complete 10 strikes, quest step 6 win 10 crucible matches, quest step 7 wait till reset and claim your prize. the name of the armor is Elemental robes, vest, and plate. The perk for the armor is as follows. Reduce damage from ark, void, and solar sources by 50%.
-
When u hold melee while airborne you will stomp them instead.
-
Add the benefit of damaging/staggering enemies when you goomba stomp them.
-
I prefer cement bricks
-
Great then i could put them on and go jump in a lake. Get rid of all my worries about this game. I like it👍
-
2 RepliesYesterday during gambit I got knocked back into the invasion portal lol I had nothing to fight with either just primary lmfao.
-
2 RepliesYou could really expand on it honestly. It could prevent any knockback, but also makes you jump less high. Also it improves your stability for weapons because idk you're more grounded or something. Something extra to make it stand out and actually viable in some content.
-
That or just make the burst and control jumps useful towards negating it.
-
8 RepliesCould be a good artifact... if they bring them back. WHICH THEY F-ING SHOULD
-
Neat idea, creating an exotic that actually helps you out, but in this case, I'd rather they fix these overused and broken enemy mechanics than have to equip an item permanently on all 3 characters.
-
Go one step further - magnet boots. Let us stick to the ceiling Ratchet and Clank style!
-
It should be a mod, gear perk, or subclass ability... No way Bungie would make 3 same exotic for all classes. Anyway, its good idea. Im tired getting pushed by shield bro and ended up dead by falling off the ledge or crashed to the wall
-
Edited by IamJophus: 11/27/2018 2:22:42 AMOnly if the PVP perk is that they reduce mobility by 20% and will automatically be equipped (without the ability to remove) if you are running a shotgun. ...and are a guaranteed drop upon login on their release day.

No. Play the game.
