It’s definitely one of the more useful abilities. Puts a decoy on the radar, sits there for awhile, guaranteed stun/slow. Super good. If you want to replace one of the same three grenades with a suppressor, I wouldn’t mind tho

It slows down guardians for like 3 seconds. Doesnt sound like much but it's very effective. Maybe a little damage buff but you gotta use it like it is supposed to. A trap

I'm going to say no to this. A suppression grenade would be cool but the smoke snare melee is way too useful if you know how to use it

Snar bomb Is fine how it is. Useful in too many circumstances to list.

What if: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/249370604/0/0 Although, I must disagree with its usefulness. PvE: stun heavy hitting enemies. PvP: bait and blind opponents. Is it super powerful? No. But it's a very useful tool in capable hands.

12 RepliesYou must have the SKILL TREE WRONG. Way of the trapper has a very USEFUL snare bomb. Way of the Pathfinder (bottom tree with Mobius Quiver) has a useless snare with its invisibility. The whole mechanic stinks and it’s rare when useful if that.

Throwing knives are a Gunslinger thing. Nightstalker uses smoke bombs for different purposes.

I like the smoke bomb actually, I just wish that they would buff the damage of it to make it more applicable.

Lol, what? No value to anyone? You mean no value to YOU. It blinds and slows, can be set as a trap AND throws off enemy radar and you want to replace it with a PoS throwing knife? Yea, pass. I'm assuming you're talking about pvp application as well and if that's the case and you're using tether in pvp over everything else, you're doing it wrong.
