Why does the drifter keep calling us “chosen one?”
Has anyone else noticed this? I first I thought it was because we had been chosen by the Traveler but I’m wondering if he (and he probably does) know something we don’t.

Lead a team of Guardians to kill Riven, Crota, Aksis, Atheon and a metric ton of strike bosses that if left alone could have become raid boss level threats. Became the hero of the Red war, the Taken war and the Siva outbreak Have more titles then even we can count such as Hive bane, scourge of the empire, ghoul of the great machine, Slayer of the black garden, shadow of Calus, pride of Saladin Etc. And finally became the newest Iron Lord in over a hundred years Maybe that's why? Edit: Oh! And we killed the house of devil's Archon... On our first day!

3 Replies<As others have mentioned, we got our Light back when nobody else did. Fun fact, we weren't the first to go to the Shard. But we were the ONLY ones to get the Light from it. That means the Traveler literally chose us. We killed Atheon, we killed a Hive God (or two), and we ended the Red War.>

14 RepliesI mean we canonically singlehandedly took down Atheon, Vex Mind that controlled time itself, Crota, Hive Prince And son of a God, Oryx, that Hive God King himself, Aksis, Leader of the Devil Splicers, Ghaul, the one who successfully manage to take away our Light, and Riven, a Taken Ahamkara. So..it makes sense that we would basically be the one chosen by the Traveler to do such things.
