So two new exotic quests are 580 and 590....
So I'm supposed to grind for higher level to get this..... Thank you bungie. It has been a while since I've had to grind for something I want. This is what I have missed since destiny 1. Love the game, love the grind. Keep it coming!!!!

Stop calling them powerful rewards and just call it legendary gear. The fact that these two quests require you to be at 580 and 590 is ridiculous. Automatically everyone who is not either a YouTuber or someone without a job/life and only Destiny to do all day every day is excluded from being able to complete quest steps. That's not a good thing. I am a D1 vet too and I don't think that setting such a high bar for access to content that all of us paid for is appropriate. Just because Destiny isn't my day job, doesn't mean I or anyone else should be excluded. The raid should definitely have a higher required power level, but these are exotics that we bought with the expansion. This game is plenty damn grindy without the exclusion thanks.

you know what im gonna do im gonna just exploit the shit out of this game because that's apparently how you are supposed to play. im just gonna sit in a damn cave killing the same damn add over and over and over and over again until i get a prime engram and then keep doing it until i have a pile of prime engrams on the floor because im TIRED of waiting a whole week to just gain 15 light level for the entire week and complete everything within a day.

2 RepliesYes! I played the shattered throne as a 550 guardian then as a 561 and there's a difference dude. If the hassle comes from enemies dealing great damage and you having to shoot much more than usual, increase your power gap. Don't try to rush it, is a great activity, take your time, how's the saying?? "________, adapt, overcome" do that.

This is rewarded for something new! A exotic, but what after that? When you've done everything what then? Bungie never has really made a decent endgame activity that keeps you on the game. I loved the company and I love the game, but I wish they would make decent content like Taken King and Forsaken, for every DLC. That would be worth my money.

32 RepliesThe light level grind is still pretty aggressively time gated and RNG controlled. It’s a really garbage grind, even if they’ve slightly eased up on number of drops possible per week compared to year 1. Locking content behind achieving high light is basically just a less explicit time gating of content. In principle players don’t actually need to reach those levels, sure, and for them it’s not as harsh. For others, the practical time gating will be much more significant. Heavy RNG and time gating of content isn’t healthy grind. It’s lazy development work.

40 RepliesI think I'll be bored before reaching to 560+ I'll probably be playing a different game by then. I don't know about anyone else, but solo players are the ones that are more likely to quit playing past a certain stage of the game when they have to do a high level content like the raid. My personal opinion.

3 Replies-blam!- YOU!!!! because of this shitty light level grind that is purely RNG and they throttel light level gain after 520 im 4 -blam!-ing damn weeks in and im 5 -blam!-ing 50! you wanna know why that is a bad thing? well ill tell you why/ because i want to -blam!-ing raid and i know i can do the raid i play this game DAILY for HOURS doing every single damn bounty i can get my hands on. hell i even did the lunas howl bounty solo in 3 days... but im not allowed to raid because raid groups only accept now 570 light level AND the dungeon is 590!! im a damn good player i try to complete everything and because i did not exploit the game raid groups wont even accept me before i can even show that im not a bad player!!!! the challenges and everything are perfect but WHY throttle light level to +1 gains instead of +5 when you have 100 light to get through???????? if you had to throttle then why not to +3??? what the hell am i gonna do with a gear that is only +1 above my current light from a WEEKLY reward??? wait till next week and get another +1???? might as well get my perfect nightfall and dreaming city done and only those because all the other milestone activities are WORTHLESS! i might as well sit in a damn cave using the prime engram exploit for -blam!-ing 12 hours ill progress alot faster doing that then actually playing the -blam!-ing game!
