Once again, bungie has taken something that should be nice and completely -blam!-ed it up. This DLC is FILLED with bugs that are screwing players over and on top of that bungie has come out and told the players that were effected that they’ve already got our money and they can go -blam!- themselves. If you haven’t gotten Forsaken, do yourself a favor and hold off. These bugs effect the players in a negative way so that means it’s very low priority for bungie. Give it about 3 months.
I dare any of the bungie nut huggers to try and deny that this is how bungie operates.

7 RepliesWell, let me list the things I like about it and state that I have experienced ZERO bugs thus far and have dumped easily 40 hours into the expansion so far. -The grind is back and feels meaningful thanks to the prime engram system Bungie put in place. -Exotic drops feel special again because the drop rate has been nerfed, if a bit heavily. (Only two dropped for me so far) -Exotics now drop from any activity/enemy giving meaning to helping your friends with lower level activities if you're grinding out Exotics. -IN GAME LORE. Seriously, can't stress this enough -A good narrative that, if you read up on your lore, makes perfect sense. -Infusion is now expensive, giving meaning to seeing a player who has attained high levels of power. -There are titles for completing all the triumphs in a particular section. -Dreaming city is a brilliant endgame location with tons of secrets and challenges besides the raid -NEW SUPERS -Bows -in depth quest pursuit system which allows you to track specific quests. -Gambit is a brilliant new game mode fusing PvP and PvE -Meaningful side quests to undertake -More reasons to play together than ever -The ability to pick your nightfall modifiers and the nightfall strike. -And yes, the list does go on. So go ahead, spread your lies. Just because you think they're true doesn't mean they are.

Clearly your new here. Or you haven’t played a Bethesda game

Nothing to see here people, move along.

There’s one milestone bug, and, uh, a bunch that got patched today.

Edited by HollowedWayfarer: 9/12/2018 1:08:34 AMYou’re being a bit dramatic, don’t ya think?
-
Edited by AkenoKobayashi: 9/12/2018 1:02:31 AMI will judge this by how long it takes me to start getting Legendaries once I get to level 50 (which is honestly too high of a level for purples to spawn more considering the base game max level was 20), and by how soon I get Queenbreaker's and Lord of Wolves, AND how much I can upgrade them. Also, the new subclass for Nightstalker kind of sucks balls.

1 ReplyI already knew to hold off because its been this way since D1 released and it usually takes 6 months or more for this company to get around to them. Maybe it's time for them to actually create a new engine that doesn't have major coding issues.

1 ReplyHow are peeps suppose to get their Edge Transit ‘nade launchers gift basket if they don’t buy forsaken?

Everyone says they love it now but in 2 weeks(maybe 3) the boredom will take over. Forsaken does have alot to offer In terms of a good story and plethora of bounties, adventures, healthier crucible, Gambit, milestones, random rolls and dreaming city, new raid However after your first play through you will start to see the same stuff drop, the same 500 grenade launcher, the same useless armor piece and and your powerful Engrams are completed you will slow crawl your way to 520-530 doing same bounties, same weeklies and in the end you will spend most of your time in your inventory and the dreaming of content city. It's here where you will fight enemies that can kill you and then spend the rest of your time trying to find something to do, because it might look beautiful with hidden puzzles but don't be fooled the puzzles only come on a week to week cycle that Bungie controls. Feel free to explore the city all you want and explore the vastness of a city that is so dead and barren that even finding another player should be a triumph.

Why you play it so much then

I haven't been adversely affected by anything except the blind well's lack of rewards. Play the game or don't...if you don't, it's one less whiny destiny player who professes to hate the game but still spends hours playing it. Great games are always a work in progress...as a Software Engineer I know this all too well. Bungie could come out with perfect content every single day and people would still find something to complain about...because the gaming community (especially the Destiny community) is full of whiny 15 year olds who get mad when they don't get their way. Like I said, play the game or don't...us real fans are loving it for what it is and understand that it takes time to perfect a masterpiece.

4 RepliesHint: Actvision thrives on creating controversy, then overselling fixes. You're addicted, and they bank. Welcome to the new meta based on wanton ignorance.

I love these sarcastic posts. We need more humor on the forums.

2 RepliesLol what? Do you know how hard it is to find a glitch? As a programmer I can say it is frustrating to fix glitches. It could be a uncapitalized letter, a misplaced comma, or my favorite, a missing semicolon. It's near impossible to find every glitch before launch because of the strange circumstances that cause them, and just because they aren't fixed within a day of discovery doesn't mean they don't care.

Where the #satire at? Should be there somewhere?

7 Repliesyou have 3 characters over 510. how have you been affected in a negative way?
-
Bump, if there is an issue with a product and isn't working optimally, then yes dont buy it. You wouldnt buy a car with issues... Minimal issues stack. I agree with this..... However, i have yet to have an issue. I dont think any bugs have made my experience worse... But time will tell.

Waiting for it to drop as a bundle in PS Plus since I already paid for this in D1. New subclass for $80 and a Raid which is filled with elitist asshats?? I don’t think so. See ya next year Bungie!! Bye Felecia 🙋🏻♂️

1 ReplySorry I disagree. For me is the best DLC since D1, yes is not perfect and it need some twitch but it’s fun and challenging.
-
3 RepliesWhy have you been playing the game like a mad man then with 3 characters almost over my 1 character if you hate it so much? Forsaken is good, I enjoy the content.
-
2 RepliesThe op has a 528 power hunter

2 RepliesTake an L, turn it sideways and shove it up your oral waste shoot

They are doing thier best man, the content is good bugs are getting fixed quicker than they ever have done in the past.
-
I'm not afraid of being very critical of bungie... but idk what op is talking about. I've only experienced bliss. D2 is finally good. Really good. Better than D1 good.

I'm loving forsaken and haven't experienced any of these 'game breaking glitches'
