-Will no longer start regeneration of health and shields
-Instead will grant a larger health and shield bump at the beginning of dodge instead of at the end
I personally don’t use the Wormhusk (way too ugly) so I don’t really care. What do you think?
-
i told yall wormhusk crown got a nerf now stfu lol

8 RepliesAll the whiners got their wish. I am sure they'll start to complain about something else with hunters once they keep getting beat by the same players in pvp, ignoring that maybe, just maybe, the issue is that the other player outplayed them rather than it was a single exotic. Looking forward to the next round of whining which may be towards titans once Y2/Forsaken hits.

15 RepliesEdited by Vortx4: 8/25/2018 2:25:59 AMThis is more of a change than a buff or a nerf. In some situations, like when you hide behind cover and dodge to speed up your natural regeneration, this is a nerf. In other cases, like when you dodge in the open to save your life in a gunfight, this is a huge buff. I think it’s fine.

8 RepliesI see a few people not understanding what has just happened. For clarification. This is not start health regen it just gives you a health and shield bump. Warlocks have something similar (same description I believe) and that is 100% useless.

Edited by draycole: 8/25/2018 6:11:19 AMWait a minute this is what they did back in D1 with the health regenperks. An instant chunk of health is much better than starting health recovery. This isn't even a nerf
-
It’s a good change. Hopefully this will reduce the crutch player base. I’m looking forward to the whining
-
All I care about is the fact that Wormhusk will no longer reset gunfights; a modest health bump is much weaker overall than a small bump and starting recovery.
-
7 RepliesDo they also change the Warlock dive that does the same like the Wormhusk, does not need an exotic to be available, and has no cooldown to speak of?
-
Well deserved nerf but I'm glad people think it's a buff.
-
Good to many Hunters rely on this crutch helmet in crucible, I'll admit I've used it also, this ability change leaves it still OK just not as op during duels.
-
Thank the lord Jesus!!! No more dodge around the corner come back a second later with full health b.s.
-
7 RepliesI think it’s time to get the hunters their 🍼
-
2 Repliespeople are so stupid, it's a definite nerf. the small amount of health and shields do not compare to full recovery ( second life).
-
4 Replies'Nerf hunters' seems to be Bungie's motto.
-
I like this perk better
-
COULDN'T care less.
-
80 RepliesAnother one added to the long list of Warlocks and Titans getting Hunters nerfed while they receive majority of all buffs in each update.

7 RepliesThis is a Buff, Not a Nerf... If all you have to do is Dodge and get health back instantly, you will survive much longer than it being cancelled from a fringe damage attack. Combining this with the new dodge=reloading perks, and you can use Rat King to proc invisibility, and heal instantly... seems OP, not a nerf.

4 RepliesIn a way, this is a buff: you may not have the chance to get a full heal off of it with every dodge, but your initial return of health is going to be greater. While this sounds like it's not as good, it actually has the chance to allow you to survive far more sticky encounters than before. Anyone that has ever used this piece in PvP knows it's great to regen between fights and to get out of a bad encounter, but that a lot of the time you'll get shot out of the dodge while attempting it. When it works, it's great, because you can dodge into cover, and then dip right back out, full health and ammo, to finish off a weakened opponent, but it sucks when it fails. Now with the larger immediate regen, your chances of survival are vastly higher, and there is a good chance that you're getting out of the situation you're in to try and reset. I don't think it will have the same utility of immediately resetting encounters, but it has a far better chance to keep you alive to attempt to re-engage.

32 RepliesI never saw anyone using this damn thing in the first place. What dimension you guys in where it was a problem?
-
1 ReplyWe can't make assumptions yet because we don't know how much health and shield you get back for dodging.
-
4 RepliesI don’t use it myself but you can thank PvP and crybabies for another nerf. I’ve seen so many people cry about it.
-
5 RepliesCan never have nice things if there's crucible
-
12 RepliesIt's funny how they nerf hunters but titans can move faster than my -blam!-íng exotic sparrow
-
thank god it got changed
-
4 RepliesAccording to datto this could be more a buff than a nerf depending on how much of a heal you get. As a hunter main i have no problem with the husk being supposedly brought in line with other exotics. I am probably gonna switch to dragonshadow wich is insanely good now being the only exotic armor that give you both the benefit of hunter dodges at the same time if you choose gamblers dodge you get both reload and ability cooldowns its a 2 in one pacage. Then stoompees as good alternative.
