Strike Catalysts still not dropping at all...
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble acquiring a single strike catalyst? I have all of the crucible ones however which seem to be a much higher drop rate. So basically, I just don't understand this idea to keep the strike rates insanely low.

Rank 115 with Vanguard, 1,151 tokens saved and i have only gotten the Coldheart catalyst(last week). The strike catalyst drop rate is absolutely ridiculous.

I have every strike catalyst bro and i can tell you straight up they are all pretty mediocre bar the wardcliff one, it did increase the tracking pretty well and thus increase the range it can nuke a major making it alot safer to use but the others really arent worth having. 4 dropped from heroics 1 dropped from a nightfall and they seemed to drop at a rate of about 150ish strikes per catalyst based on my token count after aquiring them all a few weeks ago. dont sweat not having them because they are basically all crap, the only plus side is ill be heading into forsaken with over 10k vanguard tokens so ill probably have the entirety of zavalas armory day 1.

Typical I have most the strike catalysts don’t even play a lot of strikes, however trying to get the braytech auto is impossible, i have farmed and farmed and farmed I can’t even get all 40 nodes that planet hates me

(Sheer luck, I did one with my brother for his last paradox and it dropped. :) ) I have 0 out of …? strike catalysts. (I've played a lot of strikes, all in small spurts, but never got any. They seem hard to get than raid catalysts, IMO) I have 0 out of 3? crucible catalysts. (I admit I haven't even got to rank 5 in valor once yet, so I'm not a good indicator, but I will say I've NEVER seen anyone in any game get a catalyst to drop and I've probably played about 50ish games since Heroes dropped. They seem really low too) I have a bunch, if not all, of the 'kill enemy' catalysts. (The Nessus one for Sturm was unbelieveably quick. Me and my brother both got it before our Flash Point was completed. The others took a few weeks to drop, after Warmind Launch of mostly constant play, but once they started dropping they dropped relatively close to each other)

Over 100 prestige nf since forsaken no clue how many strikes but a lot I’m around ranked 70 with the vanguard and have 2k+ tokens... I’ve got catalyst for : Cold heart Merciless Riskrunner Don’t play pvp but got the jade rabbit catalyst on the first 3x xp mayhem week & the colony. Not one catalyst from prestige raids though....

still a bit higher. in a week i've seen a risk runner catalyst drop, a prometheus lens drop, and finally my sweet cold heart catalyst. i've been using the cold heart a lot in pvp lately, so i wanted to grind the strikes in order to get its catalyst, 3 strikes later i got it, i was really really surprised.

2 RepliesThey drop, trust me. I have the Coldheart and the Warcliff Coil catalyst. They definitely need an increase in drop rate. Another problem is that they won’t show that you’ve gotten them quite often. They just don’t show up on your item feed. I would go in to your collections and check whether or not you’ve gotten one and just haven’t realized yet.

Played at least a few hours each day since launch of Warmind. I have had no crucible catalysts drop and only 1 strike (Wardcliff). I'm close to resetting valor for 2nd time and I've run 127 prestige nightfall's and countless heroics. I've got better RNG chances finding a Unicorn than these things. One of the reasons i'm still up in the air about getting Forsaken. (I'm most likely dumb enough to give Bungie more money any way).

Just got a catalyst for the sturm from a vanguard strike while I was playing for the solstice armor. It was on the ground somewhere really strange

I've yet to see one. I haven't exactly been farming for one though.
