So I was playing the game, trying to find the lost sector to unlock the hunter FWC cloak ornament, and I found this scannable. It’s a scan of a vex conflux and it says:
I’m getting some interesting signals here. This thing is connecting to ... something. Opposite Mercury’s orbit, on the far side of the Sun. What’s out there?
So I’m baffled on what the signals connecting to. I mean it’s in Mercury’s orbit path, so that rules out Venus.
Could it be An asteroid? Could it be Vulcan? Could it be a vex stronghold? Maybe it’s a vex attempt at a war moon!
I don’t know, maybe I’m thinking too much into this. What do you lot think?

Theres so many little pieces of story and questions thrown into the game that i doubt we will ever see an answer to

1 ReplyWell wasn't there an outpost somewhere that had trading with Titan (evidenced from a scannable)? I can't remember anything specific, but there's probably something if you search around Titan

Considering that things rotate in space there's no logical reason we haven't seen it other than Bungie is a tease.

3 RepliesIt's been a question, but look at the title screen...big circle is the sun. Figure out where mars is (warmind teaser poster)...i think it's a dark diamond. And yeah, will have to be brought up...eventually.

4 RepliesI was wondering the other day about "Icarus", the Warmind themed crucible map from d1. Think that location might have something to do with it?

1 ReplyWhat lies in the other side? Paid DLC.

1 ReplyEdited by Ascent_Cobra: 6/9/2018 6:47:12 AM"I don’t know, maybe I’m thinking too much into this. What do you lot think?" Someone brought this up exact quote up months ago on this b.net. I told them the answer and they got a laugh out of it. It's a joke in the form of a question, with the punchline hidden in the question. The sun doesn't orbit Mercury. It's not our moon; there isn't a "far side" of the sun when the entire solar system rotates around the sun. Even if this "object" was a perfect 44 days opposite of Mercury's current orbit, it would still be seen 4 times a year from Earth.

3 RepliesSavathuun She’s been aiming to control the vex, so the best place to start would be the planter that is vex. She’s probably there taking some goblins while watching us in hopes to exploit a weakness

3 RepliesEarly astrologers knew that a planets gravitational pull could affect neighbouring planets orbits. Mercury has an elongated orbit and wobble that couldn't be explained via current theorem. They hypothesized a planet between the sun and mercury must exist but can't be seen as to close to the sun. Some French dude called it Vulcan. Could it be a reference? My good friend Spok laughed at me for such a silly notion.

1 ReplyAnyone say deez nuts yet? No? DEEZ NUTTS!!!!!

2 RepliesIt's obviously something must have been uncovered when the All Mighty was using Mercury to blow up our sun. I wonder if that destination node for the All Mighty that was accidentally shown during CoO reveal stream is ever going to be used?
