subclass changes - what I'd like to see for the september update or shortly there after

During the beta, I saw the subclass trees and was sincerely hoping that it wasn't locked into this format. When i started playing D2 at release, my heart sank. It wasn't just the Grimoir being removed from bungie.net or even the weapon/armor rolls being fixed, for me, it was the fixed sub-classes. The play-style flexibility is what I enjoyed the most in D1; experimentation and discovery are what kept me engaged for so long. I would like to see that kind of depth brought back by way of unlocking the sub-class trees. I mean, that you can cherry pick to build however you like, like with D1. Moreover, it would be great if you could bring back the original grid style perk trees or at least an update them to include updated/revised versions of under performing/used perks. I love the fact that the dev. team is actively working on making destiny our hobby again but it needs far more depth than what's currently planned. Expanding and unlocking the sub-classes would bring back many veteran players who had poured a thousand (or more) hours into D1. For example: Striker Titans had the ability to do some pretty fun builds, like Death from Above that enabled them to come out of nowhere and do a team wipe on a control point, and a bunch of Juggernaut variety builds (OP for shotguns, I know) and even post update Dawnblade level speed builds. I implore you, Bungie, to open some Public Test Servers for PC players (since you can't yet for consoles yet) and push this idea through to the dev team. I miss playing Destiny but I can't and won't stick around for long if you can't get your shit in order.
