I had an idea i would REALLY like to see in the game in order to increase grind and weapon potential
in regards to masterworks.
Why not make it a trade off system, similar to some perks in D1?
For example, rather than having a base +10 Range Masterworks roll.
Why not have:-
+20 Range
-5 Stability
-5 Reload Speed
This could be interesting as it would open up vastly more "roll" combinations into the pool.
It would quench a lot of the grind thirst, it will also, more importantly give players a route to experiment.
Finding and hunting the roll that smooths out the edges of their favorite weapon.
Have a hand cannon with high stability and reload speed but wanna bump the range up?
You could get a +20 Range, -5 Stability, -5 Reload Speed and even the weapon.
Almost like fine tuning their weapon to their play style or desires. Thoughts?

Sounds good to me. More customization and incentives to grind. One other thing I was hoping to see in the blog: orb drops for melee or grenade multi-kills tied to armor masterworks. Though, I’m glad they mentioned masterwork exotics. Even with the far-off target of a fall release, I believe that was much needed.
