I don't want to see people super their way through anything, don't mind it being there, but this is an fps...thus the guns, and the first person aspect.

Agreed. I'm actually surprised just how many players relied on abilities in D1 PvP. I thought it would be next to impossible to have abilities as a player's most common tool of destruction, but it's more common than I expected.
