So NLB and bubble are crutches?
So today I helped a friend of mine go flawless. We got a few rough matches and I didn't do great on every match. On our flawless match however we (all around 1500 elo) came up against 2 streamers. (2.5 trials k/d's after 100+ games this week with 2200elos).
We manage to win the game 5-3, I went 12-3, both of my teammates ended up with 4 kills. So I decided to check out our opponents streams and say GG. The response I got was priceless. The wombo combo shadestep user and stormcaller with mapador decided to trashtalk. According to them I only won because I was using the crutch bubble and crutch no land beyond without flinch.
Which leaves me with the question, when did bubble and no land beyond become crutches?

[b]those saying I was using weapons of light, I wasn't, you can view my setup through the forum, I run armor of light. The damage notification bugged once (showed 127 on a headshot while it did kill) which seems to happen on nlb so now and then.[/b]

NLB is a crap gun unless you know how to use it, not a crutch. snipers got nerfed into the ground, people still complain about all the shotgun users but the only usable sniper against clever NLB is still considered a crutch? i dont understand how this community works sometimes.. btw they are probably more upset that you went into their streams, even if it was just a simple GG some take that as kinda showing off or gloating.

NLB looks like it doesn't flinch but that's not true. Bubbles are not scrubby, op or anything like that. Just don't come near!

Saying a weapon is a crutch 'once you learn to use it' is totally priceless. The same can be said of most weapons in the game. By that definition any weapon you main is a crutch. A crutch is something you can pick up and immediately see an improvement in play with. NLB is not a crutch. Bubble on the other had... [spoiler]sarcasm, enjoy 😊 [/spoiler]

Everytime I see a NLB kid, you know he thinks everyone respects him for using NLB, when in reality, most just think you're an idiot trying to appear all skilled. You're not. Auto aim is skilled, not you. :)

The fact remains, NLB is not affected by flinch the way other snipers are. Does that make it a crutch? I personally don't think so, but its very frustrating.

I love that after the nerfs to Sniper rifles I get hate from people for using them. Used to be everyone was jealous I had a god roll LDR and no one was surprised that I could snipe. Now everyone calls me a scrub for using it. Logic

10 RepliesI personally think, NLB is one of the hardest snipers to use, atleast for me anyway. Not having any scope or zoom sucks. So respect. As for the bubble, Defender relys more on the skill of the user. You can't get a kill with a bubble like you can with hammers or fist of havoc. Bubble is kinda hit or miss. People either are going to challenge you or simply ignore it until it goes away. So respect to you for that. Overall, nice video.

I mean no disrespect or anything... But a no land is definitely a crutch. It's the only sniper in the game that isn't effected by flinch. True vanguard already made a video showing that the bullet doesn't go where the flinch takes a users aim. But a bubble isn't a crutch. They were just bitching about that.

Lol wow them streamers need to get good. Trust me I go up aginsted way better skilled snipers who quick scope wile getting shot with regular sniper rifles. If them steamers think a bubble and no land are a crutch they haven't played anyone even close to there "elo"

Don't worry too much. You won, got your friend the flawless and came out victorious. They can call your load out crutches or any other little thing but its in the game and they too have access to them. I imagine they were feeling spiteful after losing, so they blamed it on your "crutch" loadout.
