Stop telling me how you think I should be playing.
I was playing some casual PvP today. I didn't want to put myself in loads of sweaty situations, just chill and blast some people using either my NLB or Elevating Vision.
I had one player, in a game, send me a lengthy series of voice messages filled with profanity and suggestions of how I should play the game.
I appreciate your opinion that I should "Stop being a filthy scrub and use a f*****g real primary like Clever Dragon" but to be frankly honest... I couldn't give a damn what YOU think I should use. I paid for this game, the same as you. I have every right to use whatever guns/setup I want without some sweaty douche bag, flying around with their Juggernaut/Twilight Garrison/Matador 64 with maxed out range, telling me what I should be running.
I didn't do particularly well, it's just that my play style countered theirs pretty well. I'm pretty hella average at Destiny. I wasn't pulling off any crazy snipes or massive long range kills with my fusion either. I just play the game and I get smack talk from people like this. I know not everyone is like this but it just riles me when the few are like this.
Some people in this community are such bloody elitists. Also, I doubt that you do work for Microsoft and you are going to "get my ass banned" through mass reporting with your friend.

I get killed by nlb , I tip my cap to you for being able to use that gun. I don't get upset at getting killed by a particular gun, I try to figure out a way to counter it. That's the fun of PvP I think. Well maybe I did get a little pissed at all the doctrine users once upon a time......

If it's a raid or pve setting and the team is doing poorly I am always open to suggestions that may help overcome the challenge. Suggestions. Not demands, requirements, edicts, etc.

3 RepliesI agree, I tried the ultra scum load out yesterday of storm caller with Claws of Ahamkara feedback and perpetual charge with a matador. Did really well but I just like Void walker better. And Suros Regime is a really fun primary even though it's only decent at best right now. Play however you want

I definitely agree with this. I answered someone's message on here a while back and stated that I just like to sit back and snipe things for fun when I'm playing on my own. I ended up getting into a long debate about how my play style is bad for the game and I'm basically glitching most of my way through the game. I don't understand why this person was so keen to tell me how to play the game or why it would even affect their gameplay when I'm not playing with them. I eventually just got bored of the conversation because they just couldn't get it into their head that I don't like, or enjoy, playing the game in the same manner as them. I even stressed to them that I only play this way if I'm on my own, otherwise, it can be detrimental to other players. All-In-All - some people just like to believe that their way is better no matter what they do. You can't win so just tip your hat and let them get on with things. They're never going to understand so there's no point trying to help them because they don't want to learn.

Use what you want mate theres no need for hate mail, but use it to your advantage just think of how angry they are getti g and just laugh at it and carry on shooting them with nlb i would if i could use it. I sit at the the back on pantheon and snipe people with a mida and get called a scrub. So what im beating them not my fault they didnt think of it lol As for telling you to use clever dragon, only real scrubs use that weapon it takes no skill whatsover to use that
