Which music genre is the worst? (In your opinion)
Remember when dubstep used to be a thing?..
Edit 1: Wow this is trending, seems that a lot of us dislike hip hop/rap music. I know I forgot some music genres like classical, jazz, R&B, reggae, latin, funk. There are a lot out there including their sub genres.
Edit 2: Some of you are getting offended, I didn't intentionally mean to. I used satire to describe it negatively but it didn't seem funny to some. Just remember, I respect everyone's opinion and you should respect mine as well.

There's good in pretty much every genre (or at least, mainstream ones) if you look in the right place. I'm surprised hip hop is leading the poll though, it's one of my favourites.

1 ReplyNo music genre is bad, but not necessarily for you. I also believe that if your music taste is limited to one genre, you don't open up to other genres openly. I mainly listen to rap, but I still know good music when I hear it, I can listen to bon Jovi, Metallica, muse, the Eagles, etc. I can pleasantly listen to many genres, because every genre has good music. Some people are a confined to their one genre that they think every other one is bad; and they will be with that perspective.

I mostly listen to classic rock. Modern rock is emo trash.

I would say anything that I hear on the radio that is "current" music. POP, EDM, whatever all these new sub genre's that pop up over night for them to define themselves as different. Dubstep is techno, that is all.

But some don't realize that metal songs are about the guitars and solos and whatnot. The fast paced guitars and drumming. Accompanied by good lyrics make a good metal song. Instrumental disharmony is perfection in jazz Country could be good if they dropped the yodeling but I love western style songs. Its all about that acoustic guitar and deserty feeling. Pop is a mix of rhythm and lyrics. Too much rhythm and repetitive lyrics make it forgetful. Rhythm and too shitty lyrics make it a bad song. Rap is all about the lyrics and good chorus with nice rhythm. If the lyrics fail...god save us all.
