Any time someone exploits mechanics with self rez it completely negates the accomplishment, to me at least.

Spin it all you want, it's not an exploit. He walked into an encounter by himself and beat a boss using the mechanics given to him. He didn't hack his console or anything like that. Call it a "workaround" if you want but it is not an exploit.

It's not even a workaround. A workaround would imply that he circumvented a safeguard or preventative system within the games programming or in a sense glitching. He did no such thing. He simply died. Dying in destiny and most other video games removes your debuffs. He revived himself so thus he had no debuffs. Brick Perfected's argument is flawed in that he provides no evidence of the the player circumventing or glitching the game's programming in anyway. It's all just his opinion of using self Rez as cheap.

An exploit is not a hack. An exploit is exploiting in-game mechanics in an unintended way. I doubt bungie intended the lockout to be negated by self res. Not to take away from this incredible feat however and he should absolutely get motw.

They know it can be used in this way and continue to let it happen because the community loves seeing feats like this accomplished. And let's face it, it's not like it's game breaking at all when only 3-5 of the most elite players tops will ever pull this off solo.

That is not my point. I don't care about it, in fact I'm highly impressed. My point is an exploit and a hack are different things. To say it's not an exploit because he's not hacking is moot, an exploit is defined as breaking the games own mechanics without the need for cheats or hacks. I believe this is one of those cases.

its still exploit as the timer ends when he died. it will be patched~

It really isn't, I'd one intentional game mechanic negates the other it's just a good strategy .
