GOTTA SAY IT, I'M LIKING RISE OF IRON.
Post your views below, yes the story was to short, and pushing other minor defects aside, I feel the writing and design were both much better, and the new enemy feels that slight bit more of a competition.

3 RepliesShiros voice actor was terrible at times. The dialog just seemed off and it felt cheesy. Cant recall the exact lines but there was a few times while flying into a misson it felt copy and pasted. That's really the only thing i noticed so I'd say its a pretty good DLC so far.

7 RepliesI have two main gripes. New strike is terrible and pain in the balls on heroic. Dead orbit gear looks like garbage.

It's fine, I wish there were newer gun perks to make alot of us think about shelving our year 2 weapons. I like the book, the class items, besides that I'm just waiting to see what the raid has to offer. I don't think enough new mechanics were introduced to be that great tho, but I'll keep playing regardless.

5 RepliesThe professional review sites say ehhh. Campaign is very short. Nothing inovating. Mostly reskinned enemies reusing same areas.

Anyone else getting tons of ttk stuff from their engrams not even saved engrams like all my legendary weapons decrypt into ttk weapons but my armor is all roi. Really pisses me off because most of what i play for is weapons

7 RepliesComing from someone who just hit level 12 in the record book, I really like this dlc, the weapons and armor look good, strikes are challenging but not to terrible, and the story was good.

Yea, this drop feels like high level, end game content. Sure, it been kinda short so far, but everyone looks different, (unless they're wearing the iron lord set) and not all of the content is out yet, so I'm happy right now.

1 ReplyPros so far. Content has been fun. I love the Archons Forge. New gear is ++. Patrol is fun. New exotics are amazing. Supremacy is my new favorite game mode Cons I wish bungie had implemented something to prevent leveling to past the light cap. Seems odd, but it doesn't affect me, so I'm not going to complain about it too much. My biggest complaint is that my favorite activity, Archons forge is blocked because I can't hold multiple "runes" to play it and they aren't common enough to where I can just hang out and grind.

2 RepliesOverall an enjoyable DLC but basically it's TTK 2.0 - reskinned enemies, reskinned strikes, a somewhat tweaked PoE and a forgettable story (if you want to call it that, in my book that's more of a prelude if anything), reskinned calcified thingies. I have yet to try out the new PvP maps but only in Private Matches because PvP still sucks in Destiny. I've seen DLCs in the same price range add more to their base game but all in all it's fun.

Great design and gameplay, the expansion feels polished. The amount of content for the price implies that Bungie is moving toward an episodic model, but also that we're all suckers. The writing and world building has taken a bug step back after the thorough job of TTK, and was disappointing. The characters are nice, and the voice work is good, I think. Still too much re-skinned material for my taste, but the new pvp maps are good, but fairly cramped I feel. Just my 2 cents.
