My question is with all these "ghost" bullets.. why are over 75+% of ppl using handcannons? Oh its because they are OP as fuk

nop you have it wrong, hand cannons rewards skilled fast reflex accurate shots those blank bullets are on any weapon you use the most, they are added at random, lots of people empty clips / reload after kills or before kills lots of people switch all their 10 weapons during 1 PVP to get rid of those random blanks !!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Because primaries overall are the weakest they've ever been and other than fast firing pulses hand cannons suck the least lol
-
I actually can't use them for the life of me.
-
They really aren't. They absolutely rock in close to mid range engagements. I've run a rifled barrel two-tap HC on Vertigo and one of the maps on the moon and absolutely stomped with them, two-tapping and -blam!-ing everyone up in general. When I landed on Frontier, I managed to get one kill on a guy who was in close range to me. Frontier is a long range map and HCs fall short on it, even with good range. Close quarters maps are where hand cannons excel, which is why so many top-tier players use them. ToO usually has close-quarters maps (even though the streamers bring snipers sometimes. Sniper lanes, maybe?), meaning that HCs such as TLW melt on those maps. If ToO had more open maps, I would expect streamers to use Scouts and Snipers. Maybe the occasional HC for close range encounters. TL/DR: Read the word block

OP as fuck? Hardly. You might be noticing that most of the maps in the game cater to mid range engagements, esspecially from year 1. Now, that is where hand cannons should be the most viable. See a correlation anywhere?
-
I see 2 Handcannons that are used. TLW and Eysluna Why? Eysluna can kill faster than a sniper with 2 body shots. TLW can kill faster than a LMG. The others are balanced. These 2 are broken, and there is a reason why 75+% of the Top500 players use them. Balance is not where 2 weapons in same class of weapons are used by that many people. No one is using the other HCs because they are balanced.. these 2 are not.
-
Eysluna can kill faster than a sniper with 2 body shots.
Lol no it can't. It three shots JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER HAND CANNON.
TLW can kill faster than a LMG
Lol No it can't. It doesn't kill faster than ANY LMG archtype. I will admit it's about the same TTK as an lmg though.
-
TLW is my favorite heavy machine gun
-
With LiTC Eysluna can 2 hit body shot. I have one.. i will not use it because it is OP and Bungie knows it. If i playing a buncha sweaty kids.. ill pull it out and laugh at how easy it is to use.
-
No it can't. The damage on a LitC headshot is 109 the damage of a body shot it 59 do the math. The damage with an LitC body shot is even less. You fail.
-
Guardians have 200 health. If he hits in the head twice that's 218 my friend
-
He said 2 hit body shot...
With LiTC Eysluna can 2 hit body shot.
He's a troll.
-
That's if the bullets even hit their target. Which in most cases they don't.
-
Doesn't take away the fact that it has the potential to 2 shot
-
Woooo! More like 4 or 5 shot if you land all 5. Because get this. It can't two shot if the bullets are rng.
-
Balance is having the gun being extremely unviable at mid range where it should work? TripleWRECK just showed us that at in the mid range, even his very well rolled Eyasluna failed to hit many shots in a row, even after stopping and reaiming on a standing target with little/no connection issues, how do you expect these to work on the real environment of Crucible? You don't. Hand cannons are in a bad spot.
-
Then why is everyone using them?
-
I answered your question in my first post. Try learning how to read before commenting again. And even at that, adding to my last post, nobody who is serious about using a hand cannon will use them without having a (or multiple if you can help it) range boosting perk(s) on it unless it is the slowest hand cannon archetype (First Curse level) which you hardly see anyway.
-
Understand what you are saying now.. so you agree that with the right rolls Eysluna is OP. So how do we fix that to make it balanced? Take LiTC out. Getting a kill in crucible should not be RNG based... the fact that its even in crucible is laughable. Bungie should be ashamed that its in the game. What to make up for it? So all handcannons dont suck? Reduce the bloom. This would make handcannons actually a skilled weapon. When i shot an Eysluna in the back with a hawksaw. And i never miss, he turns and shots me 2 times to kill me? Thats unbalanced.. now 3 times? That is balanced because I would have killed him and should have. TTK for LiTC creates terrible terrible gameplay, and the fact that I have videos of being 1 shot by the weapon with 90+% health is crazy. Its a Sniper as a primary if LiTC procs.. Bungie has catered to HCs since day1, and that needs to change.
-
Getting a kill in crucible should not be RNG based...
He says while defending rng ghost bullets.
-
I am not defending them.. I am saying they put this in because you are outside the range. I disagree with their approach to it. I think snipers should not be RNG from the hip either.. a sniper is RNG based up close and it should not be. If you put the sniper on the head out of scope it should be a headshot because it is skillful.. but Bungie has done the best at taking skill out of crucible.
-
Edited by Truthiness_Inc: 9/10/2016 5:38:50 PMWatch the vid again. He's getting full damage headshots. That is NOT outside intended range. No damage falloff means you are inside intended range.
I think snipers should not be RNG from the hip either.. a sniper is RNG based up close and it should not be. HAHAHA you're ok with ghost bullets only on hand cannons but want to be able to no scope everyone? Your bias is hanging out.

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 9/10/2016 7:14:47 PMBattlefront 1 (the original, not the stupid xbone version) had it where if you were no scoping or scoping, the only difference was you didn't see the reticle on your screen. And scoping in you did. So, there's your one game. But it's a really old game so it was okay. Lol, and it was still so hard to get headshots... But yeah, the other guy just hates hand cannons for some reason... probably because he has forgotten what range is. And pulling unrealistic, false statistics out of his ()ss. -- And the whole "500 hundred best people use hand cannons! Blah blah blah!" Why doesn't he think about it for two seconds? Look at all the maps we have. Now look at the most competitive game modes (3v3 and Trials) and tell me, at what ranges are typically primary gun fights going to occur in? Medium to short range! And if they rock a shotty they're going to get close anyway. Did he consider how many use shotties or fusions? And everyone, everyone knows, long range is meant for snipers. And like... there are only a couple of maps that have lots of long range engagements. The rest are all either SHORT or MEDIUM range engagements on average across the board. Guess what they use? Hand cannons. Also, maybe they just really like hand cannons. You know, I love hand cannons because of the way they work. You have to think about that too. Preference just over how it feels.
-
Nice name drop. You're right, Battlefront was like that...and yeah that guy's retarded.
-
Edited by Aqua (TimeLost): 9/10/2016 2:51:50 PMor maybe because they don't wanna use -blam!-ing scouts and pulses you ignoramus hey believe it or not a lot of people like pistols over normal rifles!!
