I think bungie has been tryin to balance the classes and just doing a poor job at it tbh. I like the changes to the smoke grenades but the nerf of throwing knives made no sense to me. They hit hard but are a pain to aim to be perfectly honest. Sunsinger NEEDED to be nerfed but now are a mere shadow of what they were before and are underwhelming to say the least. The only thing I think that needs "fixed" are shoulder Titans. I've been talking to my friends a lot about this. Shoulder charge is fine the way it works now, the spammers are just annoying. If they added diminishing returns to it ( for example, if you get a kill with shoulder charge then the next shoulder charge within 20 seconds does ½ damage). That way if you miss you're not punished and if you use it as a crutch you have to outplay the next person you shoulder charge for 20 seconds. Just a thought.

They have the cooldown there intentionally functioning similarly. The cooldown makes an increased sprint run up after each activation of sc.

From my experience that's not stopping the spammers/abusers. I just felt that 20 seconds wasn't an extrordinary amount of time as to cripple the striker class and the damage falloff would discourage spamming without removing the function to increase survivability for anyone in a pinch.

That long on the timer seems to me to cripple a bit more than it should. Within 10 seconds maybe I could understand but giving it a 20 second cooldown cripples the class as an op super powerful cqc class. They're designed to use a shotgun but then everyone whines when they do.

They really do tailor it to shotgun use that and defender Titans. They really need to find a way to make them more rounded.

I think personally that each class is supposed to reward skill with specific weapons: Gunslinger tailors snipers as does Sunbreaker(opinion), bladedancer defender and striker favor shotguns, and the rest are a mix of two of the above.

I use striker with snipers, and it works wonderfully- Sniper covers long range, my primary covers mid range, and my subclass abilities cover short range.
