Marathon in Bungie-activision contract?
page 12 - 8.3
"...to staff, fund and operate a prototype team for a future Licensor action-shooter interactive entertainment software product tentatively known as "Marathon"...
It then implies that after reaching certain income milestones with Destiny that more and more of Bungie's resources will be put towards "Marathon".
I'm a little confused?

I really wonder if they will get sick of making the same game for ten years straight. I think we will get another Marathon or Oni eventually.

4 RepliesMarathon was one if the first, if not actuslly the first, game developed by Bungie. They made at least 1, maybe 2 sequels. It's possible that with the success of "revival" FPS games like Doom that Activision would want to cash in on a modern day Marathon title.
