Does anyone actually like salvage?

I love salvage actually. It's amazing the amount of people that will walk into my bubble while I'm holding a shotgun...

3v3 is the best way to improve but too many teams play salvage Just to pubstomp

I started capturing a relic last week. [spoiler] I just now got it [/spoiler]

As bad as I am at it, I actually have grown to like it a lot. It's pretty fun to sneak in and defuse their relic before they know what hit them. Could scoring be tweaked? Oh yeah. Is it frustrating to get stomped by grimoire salvage warriors in a full fireteam? Oh yeah. Some of my favorite pvp moments have been while playing salvage though.

10 seconds to capture and 2 seconds to dismantle. That makes no sense to me.

1 ReplyI like the idea of Salvage, but the current system of scoring is [i]beyond[/i] f#cked. I don't really understand how or why Bungie has left the scoring system as is for so long.

Kills are worth way more points then capturing. It's just skirmish.

It's fun but the scoring is stupid. It's a mix between control and skirmish.

Its actually fun to me. Keeps me mindful of resing my teammates in a way like practice for trials.

Doesn't help that capturing the objective gives you less points for defending it for almost a minute compared to disabling it for 3 seconds. Also doesn't help that pubstomping teams are everywhere and play it like it's skirmish.
