Edited by Regret: 4/26/2016 4:37:01 AMastora sword +7 isnt possible at your stage of the game. im guessing you got someone to drop it, and if you did i dont see why you are having problems tbh. infuse it with raw so you can focus on VIG and END btw. edit: dont worry... i thought i was on the post about abyss watchers :(

Get gud

9 RepliesInvest in Dex and Str. If you can get both to 30, pick up a dark sword and infuse it with a refined gem! You'll be hitting hard. Bonus damage if you decide to buff it with great magic weapon. That's optional though.

1 ReplyAtm I'm using the regular Bastard Sword, but go for the Claymore. It's underneath the dragon on the High Wall. Works nice with a strength build from what I've heard. That's assuming your stamina isn't high enough for an ultra greatsword.

35 strength and I use the fume ugs +2 or astoras straight sword+7. I also use Greatsword +5
Fume ugs is decent for huge per hit damage, but due to the stamina consumption, it's dps is pretty bad... Same with the GS. Astoras is decent if you have a good faith to pair with it. Awesome for cleric builds. However, it does need some love into faith. Honestly, I would shoot for a standard greatsword. Something like a claymore or the Black Knight Sword (better option). Just takes a little Dex investment. That class swings faster with less stamina used, and a higher overall dps. A friend is going just that, +10 claymore tuned with a Refined gem. 35 Dex and Str with rest put into core stats. I would go along the lighter greatsword or heavy straightsword class.

1 ReplyEdited by Urban Shade: 4/25/2016 4:37:01 AMLevel up the main scale of your weapon like your dex or STR. Upgrade your weapon to its max potential or the highest you can get it to.
-
1 ReplyFocus leveling in STR or INT or INT/FTH for pyro. Also use axe types if you want close damage (or hammers) magic for ranged
-
1 ReplyMake sure you're using weapons of that scale with your build
