I think it's funny and harmless what Deej said. Everyone chill out.
After being on these forums for so long... the shit you guys spew unto here makes Deej's condescending little remark pretty harmless. I mean, I'm sure he hopes that you realize there is nothing he's able to say or do at this point other than gather the best feedback and ideas. Plus, he gets to provide the content within whatever communication he's been assigned. I'm sure that still needs approval. I would want to approve it.
All of you need to look towards the decision-makers. Deej is not in that role.
Telling us they're listening and poking fun at us, is they're own personalities trying to positively interact with us. So, lighten up. It's a joke, not a dick, don't take it so hard.
You guys need to stop finding every single little tiny thing that you feel is wrong with this game as an excuse to act so shitty and entitled. It's almost like overhearing a customer in the restaurant you're in act like a complete jackass.
Just think about how you come across when you're typing something out. Believe it or not, you would get a lot further with Bungie, or whoever you're dealing with, if you act civil and do your best to express where improvements can be made.
Lastly, Fusion rifles are so ridiculously powerful, they shoot through code, causing whole parts of the game to be blown the -blam!- away. Please, nerf them. I'm tired of killing things in two shots or more. Thank you.

There is difference to the crap WE spew on the forums and the things Bungie says via official posts. WE are largely unprofessional, unpaid (to post) and unique (except when it comes to asking for nerfs). Bungie is (supposed to be) professional, paid and orderly (Ok, maybe not that last one) when addressing their community. Mocking, even playfully, during a time when the community is feeling shafted by the company they have supported for the past (insert time spent supporting Bungie financially and socially) is not an acceptable gesture. You may not be disgruntled with the Bungie has handled Destiny within the life its lived so far, but many others are. Joke or no joke, we're ticked. Deal with it.

Agree. I really believe the haters on this community are planted from other companies trying to dis bungie. If they are not, Then they should just move on !!!! If people hate destiny so bad...move on.. Get out!! 3 RepliesThis restaurant told me I could have Steak and Lobster for dinner (I actually had to pay before the meal) - The steak was raw, they said it would be cooked for another 60 dollars - The lobster was actually shrimp (they told me there was a miscommunication) I was quite perturbed. I allowed the meal to continue - The waiter knew nothing about what he was serving - The drink was 1/3rd full - The side order was actual and literal shit put on a plate. 2 RepliesI completely agree, except for the fusion weapon part, but I'm very sarcastic and have thick skin. I'm also a teacher and treat the students exactly how they treat me. If anyone can be hurt from what Deej did then they need to grow up a bit, sorry everyone who feelings got hurt but it's true. The police correctness that everyone expects is absurd.

If you've been around as long as you say you have you'd realize this is a motif where virtually no sincerity has ever been expressed via his mouth/fingers directly to an individual (or cohort) in the Destiny community. It's always bullshit; in other words, he [i]never[/i] says anything of actual value including the weekly updates. How people defend this is absurd so don't flip the coin saying we're similar or we're overreacting because you are wrong and everyone else who follows suit. We are allowed to act a certain way, and if you don't believe that, I'd advise you to never open a business. It will plummet as soon as you allow your receptionist to engage freely and without restriction. That said, his remarks help NOBODY. Not a soul.

4 RepliesWe all know he can't make decisions on the game or give out feedback without Bungievision's authority. The point I think people are pissed about is that he's taking shots at consumers who feel ripped off, lied to, disrespected, and blatantly f*cked over because of Bungievision. Perception is reality no matter what the actual truth might be. The perception is that we've all been beta testers for over 18 months and Bungievision STILL can't get anything right. They still want to charge us for BS content and make the grind so insane just to increase playing time. They'll never tell us the truth about what happened behind the scenes so we're left with the perception that's created from their overwhelming silence. In DeeJ's case, being a complete asshat.
