Crucible MM is shit. Bungie makes everything that is good into bland garbage eventually with the endless nerfs. They nerf exotic armor like the Nothing Manacles just because they're being used too much? In whose opinion and why is that an issue? Mismanagement is taking an excellent game and ruining it.
-
I like the raids and social elements. That's all that keeps me playing. Apart fro that grinding for guns and certain perks has ruined it. Iron banner is to random and the rewards are useless after you reach 315+ Forced to chose guns (that players spent hours obtaining) as well as single prices of armour needed to reach highest light to be bettered by vendor level gear? Higher helmets drop during racing than end of game content?

1 ReplyEdited by Akira00x: 3/5/2016 12:24:20 AMThe time that Bungie needs to intervent properly is just mindblowing.. I dont know what theyre doing, but they dont work at destiny, noone can tell me that theyre working seriously on this game in order to improve it. My guess still is that theyre made their money and still chill by coke and labdances. Not to mention those 3 weirdheads in the livestream.... It was so weird, they seemed to commit suicide in the next frame all the time.... WTF is going on Bungie?

2 RepliesDestiny: The Corrupted Kingdom A visceral darkness stirs. The Taken King is dead. A foe with the power to rend realities, poised to snuff out the last flickering of light is vanquished, by your hand. Yet the curse of Oryx remains. The Speaker believes it grows stronger with each passing moment. A plague of darkness rages through the ranks of the Vanguard. The veil of shadows turns friends into rivals, families into enemies. Every day guardians defect, or worse. An army of immortal soldiers, infused with the power of light, unsure of what to fight for. Heroes have broken, legends are forgotten. All the while the darkness creeps ever closer to the Last City. A shroud of fear clings to the people here. Once again humanity is wrought with suffering, in the clutches of extinction. As for us, in the midst of our newfound wars we've lost our purpose, and thus our true sense of power. We devolve into raiders, mercenaries, and outlaws. Undead warriors, fueled by insatiable hunger, we abandon the good fight, on a desperate quest to replace what we lost. What was taken from us. And as if echoing from the void between realms, we hear the curse of Oryx laughing, as we realize, we are corrupted. Heir to the Dreadnaught or Champion of the City which legend will you become? Confront the enemy within. Come to grips with the residual effects of Oryx’s death in an all new solo story campaign that explores the morality of your own personal war and defines your guardian’s place in the fight against the darkness. Build your Base. How will your legend be fortified? Earn your own personal quarters in the tower as a time honored hero, or take the keys to the dreadnought and create your own house of horrors. Pledge allegiance to your Faction. Choose between New Monarchy, Seven Seraphs, Future Warcult, Dead Orbit, and others to take part in the brand new Faction wars system. Earn exclusive gear, shaders, and ghost effects. Fight for what you believe in. Nightfalls 2.0 Take advantage of the revamped nightfall playlist and the retooled modifier system to experience unprecedented power and earn top tier rewards. Crucible 2.0 Apprentice with Lord Shaxx and hone your skills against the toughest warriors in the universe. The competition is fiercer than ever with new modes, berserker, standoff and primal. Raise the stakes with the all new Rivalry playlist. This high intensity Crucible challenge allows fire teams to develop their abilities against opponents guaranteed to provide an extreme test of skill. Raids 2.0 Gather your fire team, gear up and prepare to face down the darkness hell bent on resurrecting your most formidable foes. Earn brand new gear and reforge the legends of old. The Vault of Glass: Kabr A legend shatters, investigate a break in the Vault, unravel the long lost mysteries trapped in the Vault of Glass and silence the ticking of evil at its heart. Crota's End: The possession of Eris Morn, exercise the ghosts in the Dark below, and confront the tortured children of Crota to banish the twisted idol before his wrath brings eternal darkness. Ragnarok Mode, this extreme difficulty is only possible for the most legendary guardians, Raids will introduce modifiers, alternate mechanics and exclusive rewards for those capable of withstanding the hellacious challenge. Next time on Destiny: Veil of Shadows….”You know that ancient saying right, friends close….enemies closer.”

1. Currently? None really 2. A lot. Loot system, obsession with PvP, the loot system, year 1 stuff being useless, the lack of matchmaking, the loot system, the Taken events that spawn in when trying to patrol or do a mission cause they suck, the content they removed and made useless, and did I mention the crappy loot system. 3. Not long, I hate it, only do it when I have to Battlefield 3 and 4 is the only PvP I actually like and enjoy. 4. Most of my time is PvE, but I'm fed up with Destiny cause it's not fun anymore and feels like a chore. 5. Both, depends what I can be bothered doing. 6. Yes, all the stuff Bungie removed or made useless, so 70% of the game. 7. Better developers

By far the best part of Destiny is the group of people I've met. The worst thing Bungie did to the game is adding the taunts. They gave the D-bags in the game something else to bully people with. These are the same people that are typically a$$es IRL. Except they hide in the game world where they can pretty much act out with minimal repercussions. I played sports, I know the drill, but I was also taught sportsmanship. Taunting is for the weak and those not good enough to let their skills speak for themselves. Ever notice how the really talented players don't feel the need to teabag everyone they kill in the game? It's okay though. You know those new people I've met? We like to work together and if one of us is messed with we all come back at that person with a vengeance. No need for tears. Life is too short to let d-bags get away with whatever they wish. Though Bungie really doesn't seem to give a toss either way. Really, why even have a reporting system?!

Edited by ToNowhereFast-: 3/5/2016 12:25:23 AM1) The fact that there is storyline with the Taken King though brief and somewhat vague 2) The lack of and loss of content. Besides King's Fall raid nothing else to really do. Legacy Raids and PoE not worth doing anymore. 3) Not much of a fan of PvP 4) PvE is what I pretty much do. More to the point the Nightfalls, Daily, Strike List, and King's Fall 5) Both, it's always fun to play with friends or try an solo something difficult 6) Vault of Glass, Crota's End, and Prison of Elders, miss the good old days 7) Revamp Vault of Glass, Crota's End, and Prison of Elders so that they coincide with the new level and reward system

Why does Cozmo not respond to this?????? He responded to the Iron banner one. Cozmo is lost

My biggest annoyance is that the developers know about issues like arc blade hit detection. Handcannon accuracy problems. They know handcannons need a ammo buff. They also know that snipers are ridiculous and they know that the fusion riffles are complete crap! But yet they won't do shit about it!

If you would like to take further time to explain elements of the game you see as requiring improvement, please answer the few questions I have below. In addition, please add any further constructive feedback you deem necessary. Please bump if you're not up for responding to all the questions. 1. With what elements of the game are you most satisfied? Gunplay. 2. With what elements are you most dissatisfied? Lack of content. 3. How long do you spend in PvP? And what match style do you enjoy most? IDK. The runny gunny snipey style. 4. How long do you spend in PvE? What do you mostly do in PvE? I was a PvE player, mostly did strikes and the like. 5. Do you prefer playing in a fireteam or solo? Solo player. 6. Is there any game content you've abandoned or stopped participating in? Raids, the ones I enjoyed are useless now. 7. Name one thing that should be added to Destiny 2 to make it amazing. That list would be way too long... EDIT: As of 11:35AM we've had 230+ individuals vote in this poll. Keep it bumping and please try to respond specifically to the questions to develop meaning behind the numbers. Thanks for your help everyone! EDIT 2: As of 2:30PM there was over 350 votes in the poll. Keep responding to the questions constructively. A lot of meaningful criticism. Thanks for the help in understanding the current state of Destiny's community. EDIT 3: As of 5:45PM there was 500 votes. A lot of responses to the questions, and again, amazed by the constructive responses. Thank you for your thoughts and ideas. Most importantly, thanks for being civil.
1. With what elements of the game are you most satisfied?
Gunplay.
2. With what elements are you most dissatisfied?
Terrible itemization management. Gear that I like constantly being ripped away from me, nerfed, or both (why are things that only impact PvE being nerfed or removed anyway?). Nothing should be obsolete.
3. How long do you spend in PvP? And what match style do you enjoy most?
I don't. I avoid it like the plague, and I cringe every time I'm forced to set foot into the tryhard arena.
4. How long do you spend in PvE? What do you mostly do in PvE?
Lately, just dailys and patrol until I get my bounties and PvE weapon tests done. I used to like Strikes, but the lack of Year 1 strikes really kills it for me.
5. Do you prefer playing in a fireteam or solo?
Solo. I'm fine with matchmade fireteams. I avoid pre-made fireteams unless a real-life friend is involved.
6. Is there any game content you've abandoned or stopped participating in?
-Strikes. No variety. -Prison of Elders. Obsolete. -Raids. Never liked them to begin with, but now there isn't even anything worth getting out of them
7. Name one thing that should be added to Destiny 2 to make it amazing.
Primarily just a change of managing players. Respect different styles of play; don't just cater to the 'player killer' archetype of players trying to spout their 'superiority' to other players, in both PvE endgame and PvP Trials. I don't want to stress myself with constant demands of perfection to get anywhere, especially when I'm forced to put so much faith in other people for my own success (which, I'll add, I'd rather fail on my OWN mistakes, rather than wipe or get punished for someone else's). Actually interesting, powerful, and compelling loot to go after. Ice Breaker and Gjallarhorn were fun and worth the effort to obtain. Year 2 weapons are not. Different endgame routes. Solo routes. Matchmade routes. Non PvP routes. Some mix thereof. Anything but the Trials/Raid/Event structure. And FFS, stop making things obsolete. I thought you guys learned this lesson with The Dark Below, adding Etheric Light. EVERYTHING needs to stay relevant.

2 Replies1. With what elements of the game are you most satisfied? *the gun/power play is godly, comparable to crisis 3. 2. With what elements are you most dissatisfied? *I wasn't super satisfied with the original ending but it's not like it ruined the experience. 3. How long do you spend in PvP? And what match style do you enjoy most? *not very long, I prefer clash and control, I like bigger team events 4. How long do you spend in PvE? What do you mostly do in PvE? *I spend a ton of time in pve simply because the view is gorgeous and I like to search around to see if I can find secret areas. 5. Do you prefer playing in a fireteam or solo? I like to play solo, but sometimes I'll play with my bud whenever he pops on. It's more fun with friend. 6. Is there any game content you've abandoned or stopped participating in? I've pretty much stopped raiding because I'm 314 and I can survive with it. the raid takes too long and gets stressful with a fireteam that is getting angry because we had to wipe or something. 7. Name one thing that should be added to Destiny 2 to make it amazing. I want more patrol, FAR more areas to explore, cracks and crevasse that can lead to huge lore informative areas. maybe a little catalog in game for the grimoire like in mass effect. More huge towers to climb and giant holes to descend.

1 ReplyI agree, they should buff fusion rifles.

1 ReplyThis game let a bunch of people down...

PvE only these days I played alpha and beta all aspects including pvp , it was ok and reminded me of the halo days in a way ,but I'm burned on halo, cod , Bf and so on, I played pvp games with my children as they grew up, and played some with my grandchildren for awhile, just finally burned out on digital cowboys and Indians, so all my rng comes from pve, and my family and I don't care much if any about the taken raid, year one was the best of destiny for my 8 gamer family and friends of whom have moved on to other games, I have pre - ordered several copies of division and will be playing that until content drops for destiny and waiting also for no mans sky, I do still enjoy destiny and play some, but the rng is pushing me slowly away.
-
i went with somewhat satisfied because when you play with good connections, good friends or both then it is a fun game to play, however it can be hard to find all of that
-
1 ReplyGood gun mechanics and overall an excellent game engine. Just amazingly under-utilised and managed. Also the guys at management level of Bungievision seem totally unaware of any of the games major problems: which have been listed on the forums since year 1.

We just need more content

1 ReplyEdited by evhgear: 3/3/2016 3:39:43 PMThinking about Destiny since I bought the game in 2014, & also the fact that I played somewhat near 20 days, I used to be satisfied with Destiny, but the more I play in year 2 the more I regret spending so much money in this game. Even if Year 1 had terrible flaws, it was better than year 2. The new light level is quite frustrating since it's so damn long to level up & since receiving higher light level gear is so damn rare. I think I'm level 300 on my titan since october but now I'm approching 310, in 5 months. I used to play almost everyday but since RNG dictate your progression... I'm stuck here. Another thing that I really hate is the fact all year 1 stuff is now useless. All the gear that we grinded for hours is now collecting dust in the vault. It took sooo damn long before I got Ghally... and now it's useless. All year 1 strikes, Vault of glass & crota's end, the prison of Elders, all year 1 activities except Trial & Iron Banner are useless. The most frustating thing in this ? I paid full price this game, plus I bought the 2 DLC, plus the Taken king. And today I can only use TTK gear & only play TTK activities. Half/near 2/3 of the game removed to be replaced by TTK. it's not the Taken King, it 's the Taken Wallet. A lot of players like me who spend near 200$ in this game feels dissatisfied because after all the money we spent in this game doesn't represent the game that we should have.

F**k Bungievision
-
4 RepliesBored, have 1 320 lvl character w 2 others missing a 320 class item--figured y grind raid or other activities when spring light lvl increase will make current activities (especially nightfall smf) worthless. No new content or worthless grind w no real incentive
-
A chrimson ghost would help. They messed up the drops stoping me from getting it. Why an I being punished for it.
-
I agree, they should nerf fusion rifles.

2 RepliesEdited by MatrixasISeeFit: 3/4/2016 12:55:14 AMI need a story. Not just a TTK level story with clever one-liners by Nathan Fillon, but a story that explores the deep lore of Destiny. I want my damn grimoire in audio and in the game. If Bungie can put a goddamn juke box in the Tower, they can put a Grimoire Archive in the Tower as well. Instead, players have to play with balls in the tower and bounce them off their face for entertainment.

I agree, they should buff fusion rifles.
