What will really kill Destiny?

3 RepliesThere lays a man on a bed in a hospital. On his wrist tag his name is written. Destiny. He is in critical condition. Suffering from nuclear Fallout radiation. He is on his deathbed. Next to him, sits a man named The Community. "Just once, give us something! Something GOOD! Please Destiny, you don't have any time left!" Says The Community. Destiny coughs and shudders. He whispers "$29.99" With a tear in his eye, The Community hands over the money. Destiny slowly shoves the $29.99 up his ass. Then, with a shaky hand, he lifts up his hand, and the reward is materializing in his hand. The Community lifts it up. "A 278 Light Auto Rifle?" Destiny laughs shakily, wheezing at the same time. He says "-blam!- you." Then, laughing, promptly dies. The Community falls into sobs. [spoiler]And that is the story of the death of Destiny. You're welcome.[/spoiler]

The constant grind with questionable rewards after insane amounts of time and effort, and the toxic portion of the community who act like elitist assholes. Those two things are killing off Destiny and making people flock to other big new titles.

to be quite honest. no game will kill off destiny. people will still play it. it is getting boring. personally im bored with the raid and the inly thing thats keeping my interest at the mo is trials. alot will come back for dlc. bungie need to look how league of legends do it. they constantly update their game with fixes, changes and new content almost every month. bungie need to up it a little with content release. for me personally im not interested in fallout 4 and cod died 3months into mw2 as it became camp a kill streak. i'll possibly let destiny go once the divisions comes out next year. IF they dont push back the release date again. bungie will have to act faster with fixes, balencing and new content to keep me interested past the divisions.
