I typically carry a PA63 in 9x18mm, with two extra mags because 7+1 just ain't enough.

I think it it always a good idea to carry weapons if you are responsible enough even into places were it is allowed and even at home for that their is no doubt that in most of the terrible home invasion stories you hear about a weapon in the right hands could of changed it and carrying a weapon is a statement of independence to not be at the whims of the criminals.
