Im a deaf player of destiny and I have to say it really helped me with social awkwardness XD I have my own group of real life friends but I do raid with randoms all the time. I have told some randoms im deaf and they were really nice and fun :) I can hear and use a mic only because I have an implant. (I have a photo for proof but not sure how to post it on mobile.)
